[Resolved] OneAssist Consumer Solutions — rejected my claim for phone damage | |||
As a safety option i bought one assist one year protection plan when i bought my new redmi note 5 pro in march 2018. As my old phone was lost and i did not had any insurance for that i didn't wanted to take risk at this time.in october 2018, accidently it dropped from my hand and it's screen got damaged. I was not very worried because i had my one assist protection plan. So i filed claim for the very first time. They asked me so many details... I filled all of them... They asked for phone images. I'd proof bill invoice everything i gave to them. Then they said your invoice is on name of anupam chaudhary and in docs your name is anupam. So we couldn't identify you.. Please make affidavit for id proof.. This they told me on friday. As i am working professional i don't get much time, but still i applied leave at office and got the affidavit from notary. And then i shared the affidavit. Then after sharing affidavit i received a call from the team of one assist that your damage claiming time is over so we have closed your claim... Out of all this harassment i got nothing. Then i didn't do anything for 1 month. But i decided to give a try again. As i had paid around 1600 for this plan. So i filed claim for my phone's broken screen again.. And this time they rejected at once... They said you can't file se claim again. But no service was given to me in earlier claim. How can they do this. They have given me so much of mental harassment that i can't even explain.. So many phone calls were made to customer support but they just did not provided me any solution.. Please help me resolve this issue.. Otherwise don't allow such fraud companies to fool their customers. Thanks Was this information helpful? | |||
