OnePlus India — worst service received from kormangala authorised oneplus service center

Hi team,

I am reaching out to consumercomplaint forum with this faith that i will have some resolution here.

Let me explain my part of story to you and the way one plus representatives treat and behave with customers-

Three weeks back, i slipped and fell down with mobile in my hand and there was only a slight crack on the edge at left side. I realised that the rear camera of lens is also broken on this thursday i. E. 14th june, when i had a cut with broken piece of rear camera's lens glass. My phone was working perfectly fine and there was no problem in display or camera.

I have visited to kormangala branch on this sunday i. E.17th june and this is how it worked out for me+

I have given my phone for rear camera lens replacement and as you know that my touch screen was broken slightly from one of the edge (Left edge) then amandip from your team suggested me that there may be chances for screen replacement if screen gets a crack in different places during rear camera lens change. Please make a note that during my conversation i had also requested her if this will be covered under phone warranty as i bought this phone in the month of october last year and she told no it will not. I told amandip several team - please try if anything works out and i don't want to change the screen. I have also asked her to discuss this with engineer and ask him to work calmly on this one for the replacement but when i came back and look into the old touch screen, it was in same condition as earlier and there was no other crack and when i showed them, two of your team members went inside and discussed for around 10 mins and came back with reason stating that led was broken that's why they need to change the screen replacement. Rakesh was the engineer for this change.
The other lady who was there to assist me during phone collection told that we have changed this as there was display issue. When i asked questions to your team regarding screen replacement and also stated that there was no display issue and how it was working from past three weeks, they were just looking here and there and then finally called amandip to deal with it. Amandip and other lady went inside to think about the fake issue as your team was wrong. They came up with this fake reason that was not at all acceptable. When i asked other representatives, they were just repeating that this is how our authorised service center works if you approve to change the screen replacement then you don't have right to comment. I agreed to their point but i had only one question with the team how it was working from past three weeks and when they touched my phone it stopped working. They were saying if led is fused or broken, you will get blank screen but it never happens in my case from past three week after i had slight crack in one of the edges and that was not on the screen but at left edge of the phone.
On same point, i have one question for one plus team if team need to change the phone battery then how does this process works - again your team will say madam you need to go for screen replacement even if it is not required and we will cut your pockets by asking you to pay for it.

For time being, i have paid the bill as per invoice no. Mtkor[protected] and i have also reached out to other mobile shop to understand if really this was an issue as per explanation. They confirmed me that guys seating over there fooled you and collected money from you. Additionally, at the same time i have called customer care to complain and they requested me to drop an email.

Hope you will look into my concern and resolve it at earliest.
I have never expected this type of service from one plus authourised service center atleast. If this is the way you guys work, then you are making other customers to go for other companies mobile and even i will suggest my friends to never buy oneplus phone as i got looted, i will help others to save their money.

We, the customers reach out to service center with this trust that they will take care of their phone and will help us with original parts and will fix the exact problem. I have never thought that i will end up paying more amount to your service center then if i had repaired it from somewhere outside. I ended up paying the amount of 5936 instead of 600 rs which is somewhat 10 percent of amount i paid you guys

Message for one plus team - think about customer pain points as well and don't make fixing issue as money business and cut down our pockets.

i have purchased one plus 5t cell phone on 2oth feb 2018 through Amazon on line with a order no #[protected]
its battery is getting discharged very soon and handset is getting overheated please resolved the matter by replacing the device since it is in its waranty period
