Orange Business Services — Misbehavior by Driver, conductor and lady marshal | |
Writing this on behalf of my father, Prem Singh. This is with regards to a shameful incident that happened today morning with my father. Time of incident:6.15am Route number-433 (Orange cluster bus) Bus number- 5384 My father, aged 63, boarded a bus from Vinoba puri metro station heading to Okhla Mandi. Conductor was not ready to give ticket and upon insisting, he gave the ticket. During this COVID situation, neither conductor nor on duty lady marshal was wearing the mask. When my father asked her why she and conductor is not wearing the mask, they all became furious.They all (Driver, conductor and lady marshal) snatched the ticket and pushed my father out of the bus near Srinivas Puri depot. He fell and is injured. He is having wounds on his hand and knee. My father was not having the mobile at that time and upon request to lend a phone call to police station, none of the marshals in Okhla Mandi helped him as they were afraid that their identities will be revealed. It is a behaviour like a gangster. Is this what we get if we raise our voice against wrong? Being a responsible citizen of the country, if we will not educate people about the ongoing situation, then how will we be able to control this pandemic situation.
