Orient Fans (Bad Product, Worse Service Quality)

Exhaust Fan stopped working within a week
Hi,

I bought an Exhaust Fan of M/s. Orient (Model- Air Flow) on 5th May 2012 from Kalra Electricals, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar at the price of Rs. 1, 100/-. This fan never gave us the desired result and was very slow from the day one. On top of that the fan has stopped working within a week of installation. It just gives a humming sound upon switching it on.

Upon calling the shopkeeper (Kalra Electricals), I was told to contact the company's service center directly on phone numbers[protected] & 27298193. I am calling on these numbers since Saturday but nobody is picking up.

At last I took the number of their HO in Okhla Phase-3, New Delhi and called their board number[protected]. My call was answered by Mr. Varun in Services. He also suggested me to call on phone numbers[protected] & 27298193 and talk to Mr. Raj Kumar & Mr. Varun there. I called on these both numbers more than two dozen times again but no avail, nobody picking up.

Then I called Mr. Varun again in their HO. He said that I will receive a call back in 20 minutes but these orient guys are not aware of call back and of customer orientation, so not received call from him.

I need to say as follows:

1. I don't need a fan which goes off within a week and want a full refund of my amount I paid for the fan.
2. Nobody should buy orient fans from immediate effect, as Orient Company doesn't care their customers, as nobody is even interested to listen customer's grievance.

Dhoni must stop endorsing this dirty product..

Now I was told to log my complaint on their another number- [protected]. Have logged my complaint and my complaint number is C[protected]. Waiting for the resolution.

They have replaced the exhaust fan.

is any action will be taken on it or not.or it is only submition of complaint on the site.thats it.i have called on ORIENT CUSTOMER CARE but that is also for no use.

Noise/Slow Speed
I purchased eight orient pspo ceiling fans from authorized agent six years back. Within guarantee period of two years almost all fans gave slow speed problem which were sorted out by the company.Now, after four years four fans are giving noise/slow speed problem.Mr. Gagandeep Manager was contacted but he is helpless. It is strange for me that Mr. Birla, s brand name company fans are going faulty in such a short period.What is the use of purchanging brand name company fans at higher rates than local brand fans?

Starting, speed very slow increase
I purchase orient pspo ceiling fans from Rajdhani Electrical, Triveni nagar, Jaipur only one month back. But at starting speed increase very slow and taken some time cover full speed. This problem faced from installation time. Pl short out my problem.

Orient electric doesn't care for customer
They are providing defective product every time
It's better to buy fan of another company but never buy any product of orient electric like fan

sir, i have a wall fan(model - orient wall fan 41) .
its nob (which connect upper and lower part of a wall fan ;;it is a moving part, contain GEAR ) has been broken .
due to this fan has been splited into two parts
plz refer the name of the shop OR website (for online ) where i will get this NOB

i also have the Same Complain... Orient table fan not working ... Spent more than 350Rs for service and repair but still not working...

Will throw this fan in a Dustbin...

Orient — Bad service by company

Orient table fan purchased on 31/03/10 stoped working on 12/06/10,same day we launched complaint to the company thru dealer but company sent its person on 14/06/10 after many follow ups.Company person serviced & started the fan but again it stopped working on same day evening.We called company on 15/06/10 ,company assured to send person but no one came to look after the complaint.

Last week, Monday I had purchased Orient pedestal fan. I had trust in the brand name, but sorry to say, I never expected such a bad service from Orient Service Centre chennai. From around 1 week I am calling the service center([protected], [protected], ) for installing the fan, as I was facing some issues in it. The response was very poor. Till now nobody came to install it.
Everyone will think second time before purchasing because of the poor service.

Orient fans Company is now No 1 company in Providing Service Since Avanindra Yadav has taken over the Charge of All India After Sales Services.He is very co-operative and has Co-operated us, when ever any one approaches to him he is always helped them.

Orient pspo — rusted fan blades

I had purchased 4 Orient PSPO fans(model:1200mm+) from Mukesh Electricals,Thane(W) on 1stAug2010 with 2 yrs warranty. The fan blades of all 4 fans have rusted.
Registered complaint on 27Aug2011 having complaint no:2863. But no appropriate response from comapny personals.
Pleae help me to get replacement of these fans from Orient PSPO company.

Orient 1400 MM PSPO Fan — Defective Fan

I purchased an Orient PSPO 1400 MM fan about a year back from M/s Om Electricals, Masoodpur, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi with two years guarantee. The fan has been making noise from the beginning and I hoped that with the passage of time the noise will disappear but this did not happen.
Now for the last about one week the running fan suddenly makes huge vibrations & frightning sound and it stalls. The fan does not start immediately and remains stalled as if locked. The temperature of the body of the fan is quite high. After about 1 hour the fan starts again and the process of vibration and stalling is repeated again after 1-2 hours. It appears that the fan has some design defect or manufacturing defect.
I would request Orient Fans to replace my defective fan immediately.

Orient fans — Blades colour peeling off

Dear Customer care,

This is to inform you that , following 3 fan bought details given herebelow, colour of the blads of all the 3 fans started peeling off after few months of purchase.

1) 1200mm-Hurricane-WH/GL/PI/09-10 PEH --051818

2) 1200mm-Hurricane-WH/GL/PI/09-10 PEH --051796

3) 900mm-Hurricane-WH/GL/PI/09-10 PAH --04203

Abover referred fans were bought from M/s. SADGURU AGENCIES, Sunil Sadan, Opp Tony Land, Station Road, Chembur, Mumbai-400 071. Tel No.2521 1683 vide Invoice # 227 dt. 20.09.2009.

The undersigned went to the above dealer today i.e.5th of December, 2010 to make official complaint about the same. He was of the opinion that such things heppens on all Orient or any other product which is non metalic, which being a customer i do not agree. As, I strongly beleive in Orient Brand therefore bought 3 fans as referred above. Being a customer i would request you to seriously look into the matter and please make necessry arragementmet to either inspect or get the defect blades changed at the earliest under the intimation to the undersigned.
