I am waiting for disbursement from last 2 month but don’t have any update . Today I have called Oriental India for my claim status and came to know that there is no claim registered against my policy, why such kind of miscommunication .

I am tired calling you guys every week but didn’t receive any concrete reply, not sure why don’t you guys pick the call (trying on +[protected]/ 92/ 93 ) .

Please have a clear understanding of my claim and provide the disbursement date.

If outpatient treatment is required (in general no hospitalization required) i.e. clinic, OPD visit please avail the treatment and submit the claim for reimbursement once you come back to India.

Its a small problem i didn't get a hard copy of the insurance and the oriantal company is worst in it and too the policy bazaar they r doing the insurence and they have to see to it and reply ASAP

I don't believe in policy bazaar.

      I am m ravi kumar owning an insurance policy for my four wheeler maruti suzuki swift vdi 2011november model.

      My insurance policy number:

      I have applied for a claim in april 2018 at oriental insurance office at vindhyanagar ntpc, singrauli, madhya pradesh.
      I have taken your policy online, but i find your response to be pathetic, as there has been no response from you people at delhi since april this year
      As you are aware that my online policy is been issued from delhi and my permanent address is at hyderabad.

      Finally as per your branch managers version at vindhyanagar ntpc, singrauli - madhya pradesh form 64vb is pending to finally process and disburse the claim.

      At least now which is been high time.. Do look into the matter and arrange the required form64vb to the concerned manager at singrauli office.

      There has been no response to mail communication as neither of your telephone is being answerable.
      Let me know your contact number which is in answerable condition

          I had lodged a claim of my father (Mr. Kishor boradia) in reference to the above mentioned policy with health india insurance (Tpa) on 01st march 2018 of rs.1, 28, 890/- for strangulated umbical hernia. To my surprise they deducted rs.51000/- stating that (Reasonable & customary charges deducted)

          First of all i had lodged a complaint with the tpa and insurance company regarding the deduction of claim. To my surprise they told me that they had deducted my claim to such an extent because they had compared the charges of other hospitals in metro cities for present ailment.

          Let me put it in this way before operating my father for the above ailment i had taken quotations from 2 hospitals:-
          1. Purohit hospital
          This hospital is in borivali (West) mumbai – 400092 which is my locality.
          They had given me a quotation of rs1, 80, 000/-

          2. Vrindavan nursing home
          This hospital where i was admitted initially gave me a quotation of rs.1, 80, 000/- and then after asking for a discount i decided to go for this hospital and my final bill was made of around rs.1, 28, 890/-

          I am a middle class man with a sum insurance of rs.7, 00, 000/- under oriental happy family floater mediclaim – gold policy since last 6 years.

          After comparing the charges of above mentioned hospitals i opted for vrindavan hospital as it is near my residence.

          Please explain me how will i figure out that the charges are very high of the hospitals that they are charging us. I am unaware that what are the charges to which they are comparing the expenses charged to me by vrindavan nursing home.

          Claim settlement like this are making us people loose faith in psu companies.
          I always prefer to have a mediclaim in a psu company rather than private insurance company but such unreasonable settlement of claim worries us that are they just recruited to dishonour the claim.

          Please look into the matter and provide me justice as i am fed up of the health india insurance (Tpa) and the oriental insurance company

              Hi,
              One of my motorcycle claim is pending since[protected]. I timely submitted the claim to one of your executive at smooth honda, darya ganj. Whenever i call on your customer care number, they said me that, submit your claim at videocon tower, jhandewalan, delhi while i already submitted the claim.
              Darya ganj executives says that, they have sent the claim to videocon tower for process. And no response i am getting from both the sides towards my claim. It has been more than four months but nothing response get from your side. Is this the way you deal with your customer?
              This is my final way to contact you before i go to consumer court.
              Kindly solve my issue as soon as possible so that i could think of take more policies from oriental insurance in future.

                  My name is mrs dharmaraj we hold a policy with oriental insurance since 2013. We are based out o[censored]sa and in 2016 we faced an issue renewing our policy 423191/48/2016/103 in the name of dharmaraj srinivasan (Family floater plan) on 22/9/2016 as our online portal showed technical issues tried contacting oriental as usual no reply through call center, so we managed to reach out to someone in mumbai india and within the grace period of 30 days we started the process and paid our pemium but to realise our new policy starts from 1st nov 2016 till date. As we have no clue how ur procedures are for such situation.
                  So issue starts here recently our family member went through an angioplasty and we couldn’t recive the cashless facility as per our tpa vipul for some weird reasons thrice via the hospital which had no sense. Currently we are trying to submit a claim with them for reimbursement so they are giving us reason that we had lapse in our premium and need to get an letter from oriental and we had paid within the grace period. Our agent now tells us we were late so we hv new policy but who the hell was he to decide to get a new policy whst about the money ee paid for earlier years. And now its time to submit claim we were getting mo response on this issue from oriental or tpa nor the head office all are blaming one another. So whos what to do be cheated like this just because we rnt in the country and thry cn do whatever they want.
                  We are reaching out to you to please help us in getting a letter as per (Vipul tpa requirement from oriental insurance) stating that we have been paying money since 2013 and the insurance is valid considering the lapse and grace period payment. Because they are not helping us out. Will be very grateful i[censored] guys can help us out and get our issue resolved by going through our history and getting us the letter.

But it is very true if i Have submitted this claim through any agent then it will pass with in time.Till today i was informed that claim in progress. This is status of today i which it shown that in progress.

                      I can not understand how the claims are pass By DHS MOS in Corporate HR office which are managed medi claims. And up to my knowledge Sir H.N. Reliance hospital Mumbai will never issue manged bills.

                        We had a GMC policy from OIC which has ended on 30/06/2017 from then we are continuously followup and sending Mail to OIC office to release the payment but after One year they had not resolve this issue.
                        We have complained Every channel for this Like CBRO, CSD, OIC Ombudsman office, DGM, IRDA and Bima Lokpal but no one has given any solutions on this pending Claims.
                        We can not understand how can we take it further Our 1 lac rupees is still pending.

                            I have taken Mediclaim and currently done one claim, on 14/06/2018 it was approved from its TPA HITPA, Till Date after many follow up at HITPA the TPA Company and Oriental Insurance Company. Not Getting any status as what is the reason for Delay Payment and when I can Get the Claim Payment.
                            even at customer care HITPA Says Oriental will do payment and Oriental says HITPA will do payment. also says we will forward mail to concern and wait for 2, 3 days. nut no result. they provide local person contact no. but not getting the call after many tries.

                              I shri prabir kumar datta renew a two wheeler motor cycle (Tvs wego) policy number for the newly created policy no. 311702/31/2019/1241, on 03/07/2018 at 02.55pm and transaction id nur [protected] and proposal number r/311702/31/2018/5005 through online but i have not yet received policy details through email (My email. Id is [protected]@gmail.com) rupees 850/- has been deducted from my bank a/c (Ubi, chinsurah branch, hooghly, west bengal, pin 712101)
                              I have received a sms from vk oicweb that " thank you for buying the policy. Please check your email for the policy details. My ph. No. Is [protected].

                              I would like to request you to take the necessary action as i get the policy details as soon as possible.

                                The agents keep saying that the money will be in you account today but that doesn't happen. I have been getting false jazz since the past 2 weeks
                                I still haven't got my reimbursement amount. If i tell them that i will atke strict action, they directly ask me to do what i want without any regret. Every day i get the same answer as to the money will be in your account today but no progress. Reason please???

                                  I have filed a claimed on 16/05/2018. Till now i haven't heard from mediassist regarding the same.
                                  I being a senior citizen agent 74 years have borrowed money from other sources to pay my medical bills.

                                  I am not in a position as what's the status and why are you treating senior citizens this.

                                    Dear oriental team,
                                    My name is krishna bawa, and i took the insurance from your company on the regular yearly basis. I have submitted my activa scooter in rajinder honda services jhilmil branch before few days. And today i visited their for just checking the status. And now they said that the servere mr. Rajiv (Contact no. [protected]) deny for repaired or replace the luggage box of the scooter. When i called him he said to me that i could not justify that how it happend to your scooter (The main thing i noticed while i was talking to him, he dont have the mannner of talking with the customer) he was asking to me that what do you mean by zero depth policy, the matter was when the acciden held do your company need camera photage or any victim for claim by which you guys can justify that how it was damaged. I dont need that my whole scooter will repair there are some damage spots that was already dant or scratches on my scooter i dont want that you repair that dants and all scratches. The main purpose of claiming was the luggage box and he is deny to replace that, and said to me that i am not able to justify how it was done.
                                    Kindly give me a mannarable response for this matter. If i dont need the luggage claim i could repaire my scooter from the local shops. According to your servere he was tryying to said that it was happend by my that i broke it by myself.

                                      My name is karanvir from khanna distt. Ludhiana (Punjab) pin 141401. Sir i insured my car tata tigor (P. B10gn0890) of your company on the name of my wife jyoti bhatia. My car met with an accident on 29/05/2018 and i register a complaint on concerned police station but sir company surveyor named kamalpreet (Contact no [protected]) of ludhiana branch is harrasing my wife with vulgar language and said i will not pass the claim. Whever my wife and me called him he uses vulgar comments. Sir i request u to please take a needfull action againt him.

                                        My wife was insured with oriental since 1993. She fell sick in november 2017 and was hospitalised for 6 days initially and for a month thereafter. Claim for the first sickness was partially met. Rs 40k against hospital bill of rs 140k. The second bill was for rs 780k. Claim submitted on january 1, 2018 is being stalled on one pretext or the other.
                                        The insurance company has unilaterally with no claim bonus, medical test fees every four years and is applying the rules of group insurance to our claims while our policy is individual policy and the premium is almost five times the premium for equivalent coverage.
