reliance commercial vehicles (passengers carrying 4w<6) package policy

I have registered for the claim along with police report and forms, the insurance company rejects and says some date is mismatching, and I did not get any claim number.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am filing this complaint regarding the denial of my valid claim for Trip Cancellation & Interruption.

I travelled to the UK under the above policy. The expenses claimed arose from trip interruption, and all losses being claimed occurred after 20 August 2025, which is within the valid policy coverage period (20 Aug 2025 to 30 Sep 2025).

Despite having submitted all the required documents multiple times, I continue to receive repetitive requests from the Reliance team asking for the same documents that have already been acknowledged as received earlier. This pattern strongly suggests either a serious breakdown in internal communication or a deliberate attempt to delay and deny a legitimate claim.

This pattern strongly suggests either a serious breakdown in internal communication or a deliberate attempt to delay and deny a legitimate claim. The latter has been reported several times by different consumers. So, I doubt that is the case.

This not only causes immense inconvenience but also reflects poorly on the efficiency and transparency of the claim processing procedures.

    I, Neeraj Kumar Pandit, took a personal loan from YES Bank, during which I was sold a Personal Loan Care Insurance Policy by Reliance General Insurance. The policy promised coverage for 6 months of EMI payments in the event of job loss or termination.

    In October 2024, I lost my job at Husk Power Systems and promptly filed a claim under the policy. Despite submitting all required documents, including a termination letter issued by the Labour Office, my claim has faced undue delays. YES Touch (YES Bank's grievance redressal) has repeatedly rejected the documents, citing the need for additional stamps, even though the letter is on the company's official letterhead.

    This continuous harassment has caused significant mental and financial distress, as I am unable to pay my EMIs due to the job loss.

    I request immediate settlement of my claim and appropriate compensation for the undue hardship caused.

      Respected Sir / Madam,

      I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Reliance General Insurance (RGI) for the unjust rejection of my medical claim number[protected].

      I had taken a health insurance policy from RGI and had been paying my premiums regularly. However, when I filed a claim for reimbursement of Rs. 28401 for a necessary cancer surgery of my wife, it was denied on the grounds of alleged non-disclosure of a pre-existing condition.

      I would like to clarify that the ulcer on my wife's tongue, which was present two years ago, was a separate issue that healed over time. The diagnosis of tongue cancer (Carcinoma of the right lateral border of the tongue, CT2B N1M0) was a new development that significantly worsened in December 2024, leading to her official diagnosis on January 20, 2025, at the Post Graduate Institute (PGI) Chandigarh. Therefore, there was no misrepresentation or non-disclosure of any material fact by me during the policy inception.

      Despite providing all necessary documents and clarifications, my claim was unjustly denied. This has caused me significant distress and financial strain.

      In light of these circumstances, I have requested RGI to cancel my policy with immediate effect and refund my renewal premium amounting to Rs 14551, that I paid on March 19, 2024. However, I have not received any satisfactory response from them.

      I am now seeking your intervention in this matter. I believe that the court will provide an impartial judgment on this matter. I hope that this complaint will prompt a thorough investigation into the practices of RGI and ensure that consumers' rights are protected.

      Subject: Sharing My Experience with Reliance General Insurance

      Dear All,

      I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Reliance General Insurance in the interest of public awareness. Regrettably, my experience with this company has been far from satisfactory, leading me to conclude that they may not have their policyholders' best interests at heart.

      My claim was rejected on grounds that I find questionable, leading me to believe that the company is more interested in collecting premiums than in providing the necessary support when it is most needed. It appears to me that the company operates on the assumption that only a small number of policyholders will pursue legal action in response to claim rejections.

      Based on my experience, I would advise potential customers to consider other insurance providers. There are many other companies in the market that may offer better service and more reliable support in times of need.

      I share this information not out of spite, but in the hope that it will help others make informed decisions when choosing an insurance provider.

        I hold an insurance policy with Reliance General Insurance. Recently, I had to file a claim . Unfortunately, during the claim process, I had an unpleasant experience with the surveyor assigned to my case, Mr. Ajit kumar

        He always exhibited unprofessional behavior, ignoring the calim formality and telling (ऐसे थोड़े होता है जैसे हम कहएँगे उस तरह से आपको करना होगा 1 हफ्ता से अधिक हुआ तो किया हुआ और समय लगेगा हमने कहा हो कुया आपके md ceo का गाड़ी रहता तो यही जबाब मिलता उन्होंने कहा कोई मतलब नही है)
        He never responded correctly
        his conduct was not only disrespectful but also added undue stress to an already difficult situation.

        Furthermore, my claim has been unjustly delayed without a satisfactory explanation. Despite providing all the necessary documentation and following the required procedures, I have not received a fair resolution.

        I request your immediate intervention to address this matter. I believe this issue does not reflect the values and standards of Reliance Industries, and I am confident that you will ensure a prompt and fair resolution.

        Reliance General Insurance is a company with which I have had a negative experience. I would advise against using any services of Reliance General Insurance, as it is a part of the Anil Ambani Group, a group that has faced criticism and controversy over its business practices. In the interest of public awareness, I am sharing my experience and would strongly recommend against using any services from any company within the Anil Ambani Group. Furthermore, not only have I and my family members decided to refrain from using any services of this group in the future, but I will also make an effort to convince my friends and relatives to do the same.

              My vehicle met in small accident and raised a claim#[protected] to repair it.

              Goutham and Surender was involved in survey of my vehicle from Reliance.

              Unfortunately, a auto was hit my vehicle and it caused several scratches on left side of vehicle.

              I provided all necessary documents to claim the insurance including "Police panchanama". Still they are not believing what happened in accident and Goutham thinking in his own way and he is not considering police certificate. They verified on accident spot and verified properly but still Goutham is behaving like a BOSS and rejecting all my proofs.

              After long discussion, he is approving around 2-3k amount of damage and it is absolutely worst.

              I fed up with his service and withdrawn my claim with no second thought.

              I need proper inquiry on this and need immediate action on Goutham rude behaviour.

              Please go through my claim details and if all documents are valid then please act and do the needful.

              If you need, will share police enquiry certificate.

              Finally don't encourage persons like Goutham and don't spoil the reputation of company.

              You will loose customers such type of behaviour and treatment.

                    This is in reference to the resolution given by Mr Vikash on the complaint no[protected] for policy no.[protected]
                    A mail was put to the company on 27th July 2023 that the new reports will be shared with them but after they have given a confirmation on the waiting period of the PED. The company has still not reverted to that. The clarification on the waiting period was first raised to Anil Chandani on 11th July over WhatsApp chat to which he said that the same will be taken up by the team but no clarification has been received.

                    The company is again dragging the case till its next renewal so that they don't have to compromise on the waiting period. The company has no reasons to apply the waiting period on the policy has they have already passed all the claims that rose out of the PED. Anil Chandani had too tried this trick with as he had asked the Insureds family to default on the premium payment on the day of renewal and had asked that the insured should make the payment in the grace period so that he can talk to the underwriter for the new quotation which was include the PED too. it been 4-5 months since the renewal the company and its GRO and Anil Chandani are still not able to resolve the case. Also the company has been re-iterating this again and again that the insured had not disclosed the the PED in the Tele MER but if this was the case why were the claims passed or why was the tele MER recording not shared with the insured despite multiple request and how has the company cleared all the claims?

                    A written communication is required from the company on the waiting period of the PED (waiting period does not apply since all the claims have been passed) and accordingly the reports will be shared. As it is the reports are just required to calculate the loading charges.

                      My father's policy is with Reliance General Insurance since 2022 under policy no[protected] and now policy no.[protected] for Insured- Jai Kumar Gulati

                      The company has been harassing me and my senior citizen father by not adding his pre existing diseases in he policy.

                      The diseases were earlier not added in the policy because of the fault of an employee- Sneh Lata. I had raised a claim for my father in Jan 2023. Since then i have been dropping mails and messages to GRO and Anil Chandani to add the pre existing diseases. Though the claims were settled by the company after months of fight but they are now asking irrelevant documents and after questioning them they have stopped reverting to calls/ mails and text messages.

                      They are not communicating so that i can provide them relevant documents and close the case, neither they are confirming if the pre- existing diseases will have a waiting period.
