This might be the same old story for every one who had registered with Oriental for mobile phones.
They either do not respond on time or reject the claim stating "Partial Damage" will not be covered.
But I don't understand the measurement or scale that they use to classify as "Partial Damage"
They never use a standard form which has to be filled by the Mobile Servicing Engineers, then on what basis they could reject the claim as "Partial Damage".
In my scenario, the Servicing Engineer had clearly stated as "Mobile Phone is unable to work further", yet the staff from Oriental Insurance (which says Customer is always first and follows the Customer Friendly tradition as Motto) simply replies to any claim request with a standard note, "Partial Damage".
From their third response mail, there are no responses and they wanted me to give a call back which is never answered.
Humble request to every individual, "PLEASE DO NOT GO BEHIND ANY INSURANCE UNLESS IT IS MANDATORY BY LAW LIKE VEHICLE INSURANCE OR THAT PROVIDED IN OFFICE".
