I am writing to bring to your attention the unacceptable service I received on the 20th of March, 2025, during my bus journey from Bhanjanagar to Berhampur. I had booked my ticket online with a departure time scheduled for 4:25 AM. I arrived at the bus stand by 4:00 AM, but to my surprise, the bus had already left.
Upon contacting your staff member, Mr. Kapil Jena, I was informed that the bus had already departed, and my seat details were not updated in his sheet. This was despite me providing all necessary passenger details during the booking process. It was later revealed, 40 kilometers into the journey, that Mr. Jena had received the correct sheet only at the Aska station.
Due to this mismanagement, I missed my connection train from Berhampur, which was crucial to my travel plans. Despite lodging a complaint the next day with your officials, no resolution was provided, and I was informed that no one was at fault. Furthermore, I have not received any refund for the missed journey.
This situation has caused me significant inconvenience, stress, and additional travel expenses. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from your team, and I expect immediate action to be taken regarding this matter.
I kindly request:
1. A full refund of my ticket fare.
2. A formal investigation into the conduct of Mr. Kapil Jena and the other staff involved.
3. A prompt response regarding the action that will be taken to avoid such incidents in the future.
