I have had the same problem with MSEB Talegaon Dabhade. First they send you a huge bill, then the official in charge is never there when you go to complain. After a lot of running around they told my brother that the bill was because of the new meter. I have had the new meter for the last six months and all this time the bill was Rs 450. Suddenly in March they send a bill for Rs 9000. They have reduced it to Rs 6, 500 but that is not a resolution. They are doing this to a lot customers mostly old people and we need to get together and do something about this. They are basically harassing helpless citizens.
I had visited the Sangvi Sub Division office and as per the discussion with the officer in counter 8 and information sent a mail as average bill is being sent when no usage of electricity. Complained and sent mail, tried to reach them over phone but no response.
Can someone take this up and do the needful?

telephone no 26561939With reference to above telephone number the internet charges for the month of 1st Jan 2009 to 31st Jan 2009, we find excessive and not acceptable. Kindly give us the details. We will not pay till we recieve satisfactory reply. We are not responsible for late payment.
