PASSPORT OFFICE — Verification is not done

PASSPORT NOT DELIVERED

Respected Sir,

I have submitted the passport application on[protected].


Almost 2months completed.But they didnt take any action.
It is very urgent for me.

Respected Sir,

I have filled up the personal particular form two months back. But still i am not yet received the enquiry from the corresponding police station. I confirmed with the police station they are still not yet received the form from here in chennai. I went to enquire about this in chennai but they are not responding in a proper way. They are still saying that you have to wait until the police enquiry is over. But I need the passport urgently to get the visa stamping.

Please give me the suggestion to solve this and to get the passport as soon as possible. Any one know about this please call me and tell me the procedure. It's very urgent.

PASSPORT OFFICE — No proper enquiry available for application of new passport

To the concerned, I am in requirement of a new passport for my urgent travel abroad for a project. When I tried to apply for a tatkal passport at madurai passport office, I was denied a token stating that i had only one address proof although I had a Postal ID as a additional address proof along with ration card as my primary proof. To make an inquiry about the usage of the postal ID as a proof, I would not be let inside [The Enquiry counter is inside the passport office and all the agents have been vacated from the area corresponding to a raid conducted recently]. My primary problem is that I do not have the right information regarding the postal id which was introduced as a primary source of address proof issued by india's largest govt sector. Other than this also was produced a PAN card, which I guess is the ultimate id an individual can have.
The question is 1) why issue a ID which is not even considered by another service, 2) Should I file a RTI for just a simple document requirement enquiry, 3) File a case against the passport officials attitude, 4) Can Postal ID be submitted for tatkal passport.

my expired passport issued in abudhabi was lost and so after all the process of complaints to the police i gave the application for a fresh passport in june 09 and whenever i checked the passport office site i would find a messg the police verification report was awaited and even when i visited the passport office i was told the same. finally the police verification took place in dec 2009 and since then i waited upto two days back and made a visit to the passport office where i was given a form to fill and submit in room no two on the second floor. there i came to know tht they were still awaiting verification from the abudhabi office and if it has been verified from there then the passport wil be issued in ten days will reach home. i do hope things will be made quicker and easier.

This is bring to your kind notice, I Sk Kafil Ahmed, in the process of applying for my passport but I am a total loss to understand or believe the hoops I am being asked to jump through.
Would somebody please take note, once and for all that the staff members i.e. the Assistant passport officer(S.R.Das) in bhubaneswar Orissa is not trained rather educated well to respond to their customers.I regret confessing You'd rather have us running all over the place like chickens with our heads cut off, treat us inhuman.Usage of abusive language...
Please take a note that I applied for my passport in the year 25-Apr-2005, After a year I initiated to go to the passport office however all in vain everytime I got some or the other excuses. "I NEVER RECIEVED ANY OBJECTION OR REJECTION LETTER FROM THE PASSPORT OFFICE TILL DATE". And now I had some very important business assignments so looked into the matter myself. I went to the passport office, and as per their information my documents were lying with the special branch.to fasten the process, I took 1 step ahead and myself facilitated and went to the special branch to have the verification done and they said everything was OK(Dated[protected]. and thus send the passport status to the passport office.
On Dt29-july-2010 when I went to the passport office the A.P.O S.R.Das asked me to re-apply for the passport under "TATKAL" Scheme, on trying to understand why should I apply under TATKAL Scheme, he asked me to "GET OUT" and used abusive language in front of the entire crowd.
now my questions are, :
1) Does it take 5 years and more to make a passport????
2) Is saying "GET OUT", the easiest and suitable most way to handle enquiries, by the PASSPORT OFFICERS????
3) What is the real intention, behind treating us like this??????
4) Is "TATKAL" scheme there to help the really needy people or just another way of the GOVT to mint money out of the needy people by compelling them???
5) Why the passport is not issued after clearance from the SPECIAL BRANCH????
6) Will Govt be responsible for the business losses I will bear due to the delay in issuing the passport?
7) Can anyone make so much misuse of the position they hold in an GOVT Organisation?? Like the A.P.O..
8) Where do the complaints sit, why so many complaints go unheard..Is there really any work ethics prevailing.What about the complaint which I escalated to the Passport officer Mrs. Padma Mohanty??
9)While the approval from the special branch was recieved on 15-jun-2010, what made my file to be closed on 22-jun-2010, after a period of 5 long years!!!
I have all the documents all the verification and every small piece of legal and genuine information. But I am still waiting for it and making calls and visiting their office everyday and waiting for an answer...

Dear Sir,
I the undersigned applied for a fresh passport at Passport Office Bhubaneswar on 1st June, 2009 against my lost passport bearing no.A7653853, date of issue 10.06.1999, expiry date 09.06.2009(old file no.F[protected].All the relevent documents like FIR copy, AFFIDAVIT, AGE PROOF etc. was enclosed along with the filled in passport form.The form receipt no.is D000195, dated 01.06.2009.Regularly I am following up with Bhubaneswar Passport office for the new one.They are simply harashing me all the time.Some day they are saying your form is lost, on the other day they are saying that police varification report has not come.While I approached the Bhadrak Police Station, they clearly denied the receipt of any document from passport office.
I am realy worried the manner Bhubaneswar passport office behaving.I do not know what they are expecting from me.I am a sincere, honest & educated citizen of India.If a person like me can be treated like this, then I am surprised the way ministry of external affair works.

I am now prepairing myself to take the matter to the highest level if I am not been given justice in a months time.
