Passport Office Chandigarh — poor service and for granted staff attitude | |||||
I lost my passport and to reapply I needed details of passport such as passport number. After writing an application and waiting for more than one and a half hour when my turn came to see Mr Satpal (assistant Passport Officer) He started asking questions like details of passport for which I had come, and when I told him I have lost it. He still asked me the same questions and rather started behaving like one does with a criminal. When I tried to explain him about my condition of lost passport, he kept the application away and said come on Wednesday if you want details. Is this our technology is 2018 ? To know details of passport ? Is this our treatment of criminal police relation ? Is this true justification to one's time of spending more than 2 hours first at enquiry window than waiting in line for turn to come ? That's all our advancement when we claim to move to technology is it only about mandating payments of tax or charges of fees ? Or does it even apply to humble govt staff who loves working and treats others as customers ? Highly dissatisfied ! Was this information helpful? | |||||
