I went to mr. Pawan gupta passport officer in shalimar bagh branch with some queries related to passport appointment. His behaviour was very rude and ignorant. He is very inhuman towards others. He does not know how to handle queries and is just coming to pass his time and to get monthly salary. He has no right to insult someone like this. Please take some action and do the needful.

I have applied for my son's passport and today was his verification date. He is a minor and according to ur site details it is clearly written that for minors both or either parents passport is required and the one person verifying those documents told me to bring passport of both parent even though i showed him the clause on ur site. He was not ready to understand.
It is very difficult to carry a small child to such place. So either u take some action against the faridabad branch or change ur details on ur website because it is creating problem to a common person.

I writing this email regarding my passport I have applied my online passport before 1 months before i have submit all details with a proper manners.

After that I have paid all amount against to apply my online passport which is amount Rs. 1512.75/- and may payment was reduced from my PNB bank account in new Delhi.

I am very upset about that i have call so many time in passport office and also in bank customer care but no body help me.

Please help me out of this matter.

My passport no.-DL[protected] from last 1year i dnt have any update on my passport..police verification done in the month of sep but afterthat i didnt receive any update on it..even i contact that police office so many times but he didnot pickup my single call..i applied in 2015 sep for the same..but till date i dont have a single update on it. Kindly help with the same because i dont know what govt or passport officers are doing even i hv to go out of india in nxt 2months..and please update me asap with the same..

I got the passport status that they failed to deliver my passport as i was not available. To my surprise, i didnt recieve any call regarding the delivery and i havent recieved my passport till date and as per the last suggestion by the passport official i went to the Regional Passport Sewa in Bhikaji Cama Place and i wrote an application too to re-dispatch the passport. They assured that i will be getting on Saturday (3rd Sep, 2016) or maximum by Monday, i.e. 5th of Sep, 2016 but in vain. I kept on waiting for the whole day. Now i have moved back to Guwahati due to business needs and would be staying here for a while. I handed over my ID card and a written note to my friend who would be accepting the passport on my behalf (i hope thats fine). I also updated my number to the concerned lady from RPO so that the delivery guy can call me. But till now neither i recieved any call nor any reply from passport office authorities. In fact i complaint the same in the passport official site too.

My wife (umang gupta) has applied for renewal of her passport for change of address. Her file number is dl[protected] which was deposited on 17/09/2015. Till date online status is coming (passport application has been submitted along with applicable fees & supporting documents). She has given all documents required by the officer. Now we are following up regularly following up with them their no proper response from passport office (ito herald house) nor rpo office is giving any response neither we are sure when my wife will get her passport. We cant go again & again to their office as we have very small baby of 3 months.

I applied for my passport on 29th September and had given three addresses since in the past one year, I had changed 3 residence, the current being in Delhi and the other two in Pune. Police verification in Delhi was carried out within a week and the file was forwarded to Pune. Since I do not reside there Anymore, my family members completed the formalities of one of the places and were given assurance that the file will be forwarded to the next headquarters in a day to two. After a When my family members inquired about the file in the other police headquarters, they were informed that the file has not reached them even though both the headquarters falling in the same city. So they went back and asked the authorities on why the file has not reached the next spot and they were informed that file will not be forwarded until the elections are over, and no one knows when the elections will happen, probably in the mid of October. How negligent and ignorant. My next complaint is with the online grievance cell of the passport office that does not allow filing grievance more than once. And the customer care executives are of no help. Why is it so difficult to simply forward file to the next place. Why don't the govt officials understand the problem they are creating for the public and the system is not getting better even with the change in govt.

Dear Sir, Ref File no. DL[protected] Passport No Z2099477 I have received my passport 2 years ago, however by the time of police verification in Delhi, i had moved to mumbai. I visited the Delhi RPO, they told me to reapply for verification giving my mumbai address. The officer came to my mumbai address and has verified. I would like to know if verification is position, i plan to travel abroad in November. Please urgently advise. i need to book tickets and apply for visa accordingly.

I have applied for passport in August 2011 in delhi office but still I have not get my passport. Every time when I check my status it shows the following status from last 12 months.

police report is clear, application is under process

but still I haven’t received my Passport. I have done various mail also but not get any response.Please do the needful and dispatch it asap.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had applied for re-new of my passport in Delhi Shalimar Bagh office (File no DL[protected] dated[protected] under tatkaal process as My passport is getting expired next year May 2013, also got my spouse name added in the passport & applied for ECNR status as well.
Also my wife applied for renew her passport with services: addition of spouse name, change of surname, change of address.
For her, passport office asked for verification certificate whereas for me they didn't asked for it because as per them I live more than 1 years at my current address and there is no change in that.

My wife got passport after exactly 5 days as promised per tatkaal process with post police verification. Whereas for me from first day it shows status as "Police verification pending from local thana under SHO, West district". I thought this will change but after 2 weeks it remained same. Then I have to track the police office as per my area & got police verification done for me as well as for my wife. It happened on 16th Sept 2012 (so after 11 days). Today is 19th Sept 2012 but still status remains same and checked with Police office SI Chhedi Oroan who did verification for me and he told me that As per him verification document has been passed to Asaf Ali Marg police passport office & there clerk will submit online to passport office.
I am not able to understand what they mean by tatkaal when my file is processing as per normal process.
I even visited Shalimar Bagh PSK again on 17th to check with them why my case has been put under "Pre verification" when I have provided asked documents. Even at that time, senior Passport officer (from TCS team) told me that for your case VC was not required but final authority is in hands of govt passport officer and she cant help in that case.

I request to provide me any details what I can do next.
1. File for RTI to understand why pre verification is happening in tatkaal process.
2. Visit Asaf Ali Marg police passport office.
3. Visit Bikaji Cama passport office

SIR I NEED MY PCC FOR KWUIT URGENTLY I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION ON 9/09/2012, AND THEY GRANTED IT ON 13/09/2012, MANY TIME I GO TO THERE THEY DONT NO THE TIME PERIOD OF ISSUE PCC

I have applied for passports vide file nos DLHW10971111 DOB 19.10.2000 and file no DLHW10971511 DOB 11.02.1974 however till date no police verification took place. Kindly expedite...

I applied for passport on 21st Feb 2011 File ref no. DLH-A012011. During 1st police verification I was out of station but my sister showed enough documentary evidence to the official. Still verification status was set as incomplete. I re-submitted 3 PP form to RPO on 9th Feb 2012. Police verification was completed on 23rd Feb 2012. However, I have neither received the passport yet not the status on passport portal has been updated. I have written complaint to the email address for grievances for passport and followed up on it twice but no action taken yet. Kindly address my concern.

To add a note here, I did not bribe the police official who came for verification and all my friends are saying that the reason for my passport not being delivered is that. Had my sister or I paid Rs. 500 to the official, which is the normal charge, I would have received the passport long back.

I had applied to renew my passport on 26/09/2011. Subsequently I was issued file no. DLH-D004343. Police verification happened after 15-20 days which was clear. After sometime status of application changed to "Police Report is clear application is under process". This has been status till date. I have filed an RTI on 21/03/2012, there has been no action on same. If the Police report is clear then why is there so much delay in issuing of passport. I have already lost 2 opportunities to apply for visa. Will the concerned authority kindly take a note of this & issue the passport at the earliest.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PASSPORT SO FAR. I HAVE VISITED BHIKAJI CAMA PLACE OFFICE MANY TIMES . THEY ALWAYS KEEP MY APPLICATION AND TELL THAT YOU WILL GET THE PASSPORT WITHIN 15 DAYS. BUT TILL NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PASSPORT.I AM A GOVT UNDERTAKING EMPOLYEE AND ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED. ONLINE STATUS OF MY APPLICATION IS 'POLICE VERIFICATION WAIVED, APPLICATION IS UNDERWAY'AND THIS STATUS ID SHOWN SINCE MANY MONTHS.

I applied for a Passport on 09-JUN-2011 ( File No : DLH-Z[protected]. My D.O.B is 07-DEC-1988. The RPO website shows this status for the last 6 months "Police Report is clear, Application is under process". I visited the passport office many times but nothing is happening. Also,I sent an complaint mail regarding this but no one seems to be ready for taking a action.
Please do something needful asap.
