Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Nitin Kumar and my Passport File Reference number is Z042019. I have applied for passport in Dec 2010 and my all varifications and necessary formalities has been done since long time still my status is same showing on website.They have not updated the status yet. It's been more than one year but I have not received my passport. I went passport office(Bhikaji cama Place) so many times but every time they says that my verification has been done and passport is in under process and I will recieve it within 10-15 days, but still I am waiting for it from long time. Its very difficult for a common man to leave his job and spend entire day in the queue and finally they will give the same answer. I have written so many mails but no action taken yet. I would request you to please look into this issue. I will be great thanfkul to you.

I BHUPENDER KUMAR S/O JAI PRAKASH SEX-M DOB-16-JUNE-1985 , has applied to get a passport on 03.12.2010 with referance file no.H019105 ( GROUP H MAHINDERGARH ) . Police inquiry PP-14 also has been sent ON 20.01.2011.

When i have checked the status online from the passport office web site it was stated that Application is pending for want of police report .

Kindly help me what to do to get my passport .

My reference File number is DLH-M[protected]. I had applied on[protected]. When I check online status it shows police check over and application is under process.

I submitted my application for passport on 14/01/2011 having file reference number DLH-W[protected].After one month, police verification was done and till now the status of passport is showing that the application is under process.Its been more than nine months since application date.I also mailed my grievances and even send them by post to Regional Passport Officer but did not got any reply from them.

Dear Sir,

I would like to submit that passports of 3 members of my family, including myself, had been deposited at the Regional Passport Office for Renewal / Re-issue on the 25th May 2011. The first police verification DID not go through and we had to submit 3 personal particulars forms for all applicants. These were submitted on 12th August 2011 and subsequently, police enquiry for each of the passports was conducted in August 2011. Since then we have been waiting to receive our passports. Moreover, the online status in also incorrect and not been updated since June 2011.

My wife and I are senior citizens and as such it is not possible for us to continuously follow up with the Regional Passport Office on this issue. The details of the passports submitted is given below:

Dear SIr,
I had submitted my indian passport application form to the regional passport office, new delhi on 04/08/2011 (file no-Y011820) for surname and address change and spouse name addition after marriage. THe police enquiry happened mid august and the police officer who came to my house after verification informed me that I will receive the passport within 10 days. It has been over 20 days and the status online yet shows"Application is pending for want of Police report".

Past 4 days, I have been running to the passport office and the police stations at Vasant Vihar, Ansari ROad and Andrews Ganj and every officer I ask is unaware about the status. Mr Yashpal Singh from Vasant Vihar branch police station had come for verification at my place and he has informed he has already submitted the documents last month only.

Sir, I have to travel out of India on 25th Sept,2011. I sincerely request you to look into this matter and help me receive my passport as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you after my failure at Delhi passport office for issuance of my passport. I have been doing all the formalities that is been asked by PRO, but still no clarity from your office on my passport status. You have initiated an SMS based on web based services from where we can find the status - God knows how ministry of external affair validate such system which mislead citizen rather giving instant updates.
The status is not been updated on your SMS/Web server since almost 9-10 months.

I have applied for passport on 1st July 2010 File no. A038307.
after update from your office - I paid INR 1000 as penalty for duplicate application in the past. I have canceled my old application.
Now I am in middle of September 2011, almost 15 months passed - still have wrong information to me about my passport status.

It is my humble request to you that kindly intervene in the matter and guide me how do I get my passport.

I am a working professional and in the lack of passport, I have been facing humongous trouble in my career.

I have applied for the passport of my daughter "Shruti Sharma" on 6th October, 2010 (File ref.: Z[protected] in Delhi. Around 11 months have passed and I have not received this passport yet. I have written a no. of mails to the RPO and visited the regional office couple of times.
On 12/06/11, I noticed that the status for this passport has changed to - "Please contact PRO/Superintendent on any working day except Wednesday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.". I visited the regional office and provided the application with the copies of previous 2 passports as asked by them.
However, I have not received the passport yet and neither status on the site has changed.
Pl. get this request processed ASAP.

I went to Sri Niwaspuri Police Station .The Passport police verification officer told me that police verification Form sent in the month of June. I have no response received yet by the passport superintendent while I have visit personally four times but he always told me your passport is in process. I sent many email before to concerned officer in the passport office but not any action taken by him in this regard. So please I request your kind honor to effective favorable steps in this regard.

I have submit the passport application to RPO office on 29.12.2010, File no-DLH-H[protected] with all documents as required by the office. After that when i check the status of application it was showing that police report was unclear and after some time it show to furnish the 10th Markssheet copy for date of birth verficatio. But i have submit all the documents related to my Date of birth to the office then why again they are asking for the same and delaying my application. secondly when i talked to the police men who has done the verification regarding the incomplete report he said i have send the complete report. when i talked to the RPO office they did not tell me why police report is unclear. Sir they are delaying my application knowingly. I have urgent requirement of passport.

So please clarify why police report is incomplete and why i again send the date of birth proof.

This is in regards to my experience at the Delhi Passport Office.I have recently experienced terrible services at the passport office during the submission of my file.There is a situation of chaos upon arrival.Very bad service from the gentleman stamping the forms. You Can see Mismanagement every where.Incompetent staff with lack of information.Long ques on all the counters.None of the staff members provide you with the right information.The staff members on the checking counters are very slow.people from all walks of life come with some problem but it gets even worse when u get in side the passport office.

For even simplest of changes on a passport which occur due to the negligence of passport office,for example:name not printed correctly,incorrect date of birth,or address change,to get these mistakes rectified a common man has to got through a lot of harassment.In such a situation the suggestion would be either privatization or recruiting a competent,young and energetic staff

I had applied for renewal of my passport on 10th Feb 2011 and on 24th April 2011 the status of my application is updated as "PLS SEND YOUR PROOF OF STAY AWAY FROM J&K FOR LAST 5 YEARS IN SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF RS. 10/- ATTESTED BY NOTARY/MAGISTRATE AND DOCUMENTARY PROOF".

My police verification was done within 10 days of application and status was clear. I have no connection with J&K as i have been staying in delhi since the time i was born. Its only that my birth place is Pathankot which is in Punjab. I dont know why I am being asked for this Affidavit and Documentary Proof.

I wrote a mail thrice to Regional Passport Officer, Mr. Anurag Bhushan and Mr. Dilpat Singh at following e mail ids but there has been no response

I do not understand when I have already submitted 3 PP forms(for my 3 address in an year), why are you demanding forms again after almost a month.You do not valur time of individuals and The Australian High Commission wanted my police clearance certificate within 28 days and after which my visa application stands rejected.I have paid 2 lacs for my visa application fees which will be wasted just because of delay from passport office.

Kindly look into the matter as soon as possble.

I had applied for a renewal of passport at the District Passport Cell, Gurgaon on dt 27th September 2010.
For more than four months the status page of the Regional passport office , New Delhi showed ' FILE NUMBER EITHER WRONG OR INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE' . Now after 5Months the status says 'POLICE REPORT CLEAR, PASSPORT UNDER PROCESS'
I think even the passport office does not know how much time it will take to issue a passport. I have already missed many foreign assignments and dont know if i would ever be able to travel. Thanks to the passport office of New Delhi state.
The govt claims that in normal process the passport will reach the applicant within 45days from application, i think they forgot to mention 1year before that.
