Dear Sir,

I applied for passport on[protected] from Agra (File Reference Number : GZB-Z[protected], which falls under Ghaziabad Passport office. The police verification was done in Agra and was returned to Delhi for re-verification as I was working in Delhi, but my permanent address was Agra. I also submitted the PP form containing the address of my Delhi residence (PG Girls Hostel). It has been more than 8 months since I have not received any police re-verification. The status is still showing "Your police verification report is being returned to the concerned police authorities for re-verification/completion/photo attestation".

I also contacted Ghaziabad passport office in Apr 2011 and they informed us that they have not received the verification report from the Police, which they sent it in Mar 2011. We also enquired the nearest police station but they had not received any verification request from the passport office.

Now I have got married and staying at my Husband's place in Delhi. Can you please quide us what needs to be done to get my passport. Its going to be 1 year since I have applied for the passport.

Ltd. sec. 05 Plot no. 16, Manesar Gurgaon.During this period for my training i have to stay there for more time in office. My residents address is RZ -192/195, Ground Floor, Gali no. 13B Durga Park New Delhi 110045. But at the time of police verification i was in my office. One police called me by phone at the time of verification for my address.Due to non availability of me there what he present my feedback i don'nt know. Please give me my Police verification status.

I submitted p.p form with above voter id card, adhaar, driving license, rent agreement, address proof from company, bank statement.I think those things are sufficient to get p11assport.Also i need information if it is possible to get my passport under tatkal because my company is interested in sending me to onsite (outside India).

I had applied for passport, My File No.is BO[protected] dated 11/6/12. I was staying in Dombivili since 2004 till Mar 12. After that I shifted to Tilak Nagar. Police verification for Tilak Nagar is completed but regret till date file has not reached Dombivili Police station for second verification. Followed up with Passport, Worli and they say that they have already forwarded to Thane DCP. When followed up with Thane DCP and Dombivili Police station understand that they havent received the file.

I wanted my passport urgently. Because of this I had lost my good opportunity to Singapore.

I had sent RTI's / complaints to external affairs but feel that nobody is bothered.

Request you to kindly do the needful.

How to see the status of Post Police verification for passports under tatkaal scheme.

can any one tel me what is the normal time for issuance of passport. I have applied on 24.10.2007, but till date not rcd the passport.
on inquery it says: it is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of passport has been delayed and now be despatched in weeks time.

I applied for pcc but now 2yrs over. My file no BNGW15072406 still I am not received pcc. I send all details about my residential address. But you are sended again same letter about asking 2yrs residential address proof but I stay only one year in Mumbai for trainning. I submit all the proof what can i do please guide me. passport office mein mera passort mein hole bhi ker diya, koi bhi apni galti maan ne ko tyar nahi thaa. singapore embassy ne mera visa reject ker diya due to foulty passport

phir maine apne end per 2500/- submitt ker ke new passport banvaayaa. ab phir passport mein demage hai koi nahi sunta hai...

iam working in saudi arabia, last 2 months back i had a baby girl and i applied for passport. it is clear mentioned that below 15 yrs there is no police verification.but again police came to my home and made verification . i dont no why they are always creating problem for us as i need the passpot very urgent, otherwise my family visa will get expired.

I submitted my passport application complete in all respect for issue of passport in my favour as per file no. DLHW 24031209. From 5th September 2009 the regional passport office website continues to show status of my application “Police verification awaited”. When police did not turn up for verification upto 20th September as per RPO status report on checking with passport verification police office at Tilak Nagar, and its controlling office at Asaf Ali road both claimed no request on me has been received by them from regional passport office till then.

Consequently on procuring regional passport officer’s local telephone no. 26184000 from chief passport officer I tried to contact the RPO Mr. V Mahalingam each time a person who finally disclosed his name as Ritesh continues to claim Mr. Mahalingam is not on his seat or is in a meeting and each time has been authoritatively advising me police verification has been called which is awaited despite informing police claims, has not received any such request from the RPO’s office. He was simply resolute.

I am a 74 years old ailing person wanting to join my daughter in London for treatment. A long period of 49 days has till date elapsed without any sign of the police verification being carried out. To my amazement today, the 20th Oct 09 the person claiming to be Mr. Ritesh on telephone no. 26184000. Being contacted by my daughter from London informed her that the main application appears missing from records on his personally checking the file and alluded her to request your father to file a fresh application when he would ensure that it is expedited.
Please treat the matter as grave and affecting old man

Today morning i.e. 11th January 2010, I went to Idukki passport cell and wanted to apply a passport for me. I was keeping my Election Identity card, Ration card, gas connection receipt etc. for address proof and a letter from the Grama panchayat for my residence proof. The authorities are not accepting any of the documents. I called the regional passport office, kochi for help and I was trying for a about one hour, no one was picking up the phone. Though I keep the various proofs with me, they are not accepting my application.

What is their problem in accepting the application, let them clarify or verify the address later through the police.

Kindly take up the matter with the authorities to do the needful urgently.

I had approached three times at Jalandhar office and clarify my situation. But authority at Jalandhar office is not ready to listen me and my genuine request. Now question is that if I would have the passport of Delhi how it was possible that I could get another passport from Chandigarh.
My son is staying at Newzealand . I want to go to meet him which is necessary on my behalf. My son is going through a painful situation which has created me a lot of anxiety and put me under great burden. My husband who was with my son returned back prior to the completion of his visa due to these circumstances.
I am kept deprived of my right along with my son and husband. This is only due to the negligence of the authority.
I again declared that I had never got my passport from Delhi and I challenge for my above verdict to the passport official that they prove me wrong or otherwise make a proper enquiry and take necessary steps so that I can get my new passport .

I am very disappointed by the service that i experienced at our place (north east).
I just don't understand What is the meaning of SPEED POST?.....This is my second time that my speed post has not arrived in time....this time we are planning a pilgrim on 2nd of august. The pass port has been renewed and dispatched from ghuwahati on 20th of july'2011. and still it has not been received. If not at our place, at least it should have reached Itanagar, the last possible speed post office by now. The Reg No. is ES[protected]... But i think the trip is gonna be cancelled this time also. This is so HOPELESS!!!!!!
. Please if possible do something. Because, if we miss this time then will have to wait for 5 next years.

I had applied for passport extenstion on 18/07/2007. However as of today I have not yet received my passport or any communication from the authority regarding status of the passport.

The trails of events are as follows
- 30th Jul 2011 - Police representative from Bhandup police station does the require verification at my residence
- 31st Jul 2011 - I visited Bhandup police and duly submitted all the required documentation proofs
- 22nd Aug 2011 - The file is transferred to the CID office (After visiting to Bhandup police station 5 times)
- For more than a month until today file in CID office.

On calling 1090 they have suggested that file is in the CID office and nothing needs to be done from my side. I have called up Passport helpline and they have suggested that they have not yet received police clearance

Is there anyway I can track the status of the file in CID? I have written to grievances cell , but no response

Hi,

This is in refrence to File no-LKOA09946209 dated[protected] ,applied for renewal of passport under TATKAL scheme hence I needed the passport urgently.I applied the passport on[protected] in Lucknow passport office and after applying I recieved my passport within 15days but my verification inquiry came in July 2009 which was done sucessfully at the local police station and LIU office,but on 30 Nov 2009 I recieved a letter mentioning that my verification has failed stating me to surrender my passport within 15days of the recipet of letter.I henceforth again submitted all my documents again with my passport submitted to them and gave an application for a fresh verification,which was already completed from the local police station and the LIU office on 29March 2010.
But its been over 2.5months I have;nt recieved my passport till date and it is further requested that kindly arrange to get this processed as quickly as possible.

Looking for your kind intervention in this connection will be highly solicited.

I had applied for my passport on 6 April 2011.Application no. A012956. After that due to some reason i was told to resubmit my documents. which i did. however it has been 1 whole year. I have not even been called for police verification.

In addition to that i have visited the Kandiwali police station 2wice. They have confirmed that they did not receive my file. I have mailed to the grievances but no revert. In addition to this, on the website it have been showing that the application is in process for the entire year now. the help desk are unable to give me a status.

ideally as per the passport site of government it says it will take 45 days.

If the inquiry and submitting was done then your passport would come within 3 months from your mentioned date Jan 2008, if not then it will take more 1 month in most cases the online tracking system of passport is incorrect and always late so please don't rely on it and always keep in touch with your local passport center as even when my passport came after 3 months the tracking system for months was showing wrong results.

Your passport will likely arrive at your door steps from Speed Post Service so always someone has to be at your residence.

I hope this information will help as it is from my own experience of getting my passport and I agree that the government services even like this passport service is slow and not up to its mark.

I applied for the passport through online registration and submitted form and fee in the Passport office, Ghaziabad in the February 05, 2009. Police verification was done in the March, 2009 in my present residence at Agra and after two month, when I inquired in the passport office for my passport they said that due to incomplete report your passport is not completed & you are requested to come passport office, Ghaziabad, I went in the passport office, Ghaziabad in the month of June, 2009 and filled re-verification form. This time police verification was done in my present and permanent address (Arjunpur, Chitrakoot) in the month of August, 2009. After two month I again inquired in the passport office and they said that your police verification report only from present address arrived and from permanent address is not arrived, I contacted SSP office chitrakoot and they said that your verification report were sent in the passport office through speed post dated 11/09/2009 (speed post no.EU[protected]IN)

My name is Narendra Natverbhai Bari , My file No. is b009766.In my Birth Certificate,my father name is Natubhai Thakorbhai Bari and in all other documents i.e Ration Card,Election Voting card,School Leaving Certificate etc. my father name is Natverbhai Thakorbhai Bari and als my Agent filled the form as Narendra Natubhai Bari.iSo passport officer given me a clarification of father name .So i have submitted a clarification as Natubhai and Natverbhai,Both are same person. I have also submitted residnent proof as well.But He cannot accepted that clarification and told me that make new one file.I have also completed a police inquiry as well.Only father name to be changed.

I cant do that again,cant make new file.Ihave no time as well as money for make new file.
