Sir,

I have applied for passport on 19th August 2009, Application number B06200209 from bangalore. My police verification has been done almost 2 months ago but have not received my passport nor any update.
Online status says my police verification has been received by us, your application is in line for further processing.
Can somebody help in tracking my passport.

I hd applied for a new passport with Kolkat Passport office on[protected]. My Passport file no. -A056188. The Police verification is over on 21/09/09. Till now the status "Police Report Not Received" for quite a long time. I don't know where is the problem. I don't even know where is my document lying so that i can push my documents.

I contacted an agent for address change on my passport. This guy never returned my passport. My passport has a US visa on it. The agent is telling me that my passort was given to Nihal singh in passport office for this work and Nihal singh was caught by the police for some fake passport scam. The agent is telling me that Nihal singh is in jail and he is not able to find the passport.

this is to inform you that i had filed for renewal of my passport at the district passport application centre anand-904 vide file no Z 277486 09 on 03/09/2009. After nearly a month and a quarter the status shows that either my passport is despatched 30 days or the file no. is a non existing one.

Same is the problem again, police workmen do not visit our places for verification and they dont even care to remove the dust from the passport verification files..Application Date :[protected] and File Reference Number : GUW-A[protected]...Still status is waiting for police verification..
Question is, which door should we knock now ?? or have to still wait for another 5 months..when will they wake up ???

I got the passport yesterday. My actual name as per my 10th records is YERRAM SANTHOSH . In the passport application also i gave the correct name only and at the time of verification also i checked it is fine. But In the passport there was a spelling mistake in my name.
