I HAVE GIVEN MY PASSPORT FOR RENEWAL ON THE20th JULY 2009. . IT WAS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED AS IT HAD FALLEN IN THE BATH TUB BY MISTAKE. HOWEVER THE NUMBER WAS FULLY VISIBLE .DPO HADPUT THE PENALTY FEE AND I PAID THE SAME IMMEDIATELY . MY REQUEST FOR THATHKAL WAS REJECTED AND I AGREEDTO RENEW THE SAME IN THE NORMAL WAY AND I WAS TOLD THAT I WILL RECEIVE THE RENEWED PASSPORT IN 10/12 DAYS. I AM IN NEED OF THE PASSPORT AS I WANT TO GO ABROADBY THE 5th AUG2009. BUT I AM STILL AWAITING THE SAME .KINDLY ARRANGE TO LOOK IN TO THE SAME AND SEE THAT I GET MY PASSPORT IMMEDIATELY. I have applied for passport of my mother on 20/06/2009 bearing passprot application number W200713 but now her passport status reads
"Your file has got objections, which need to be addressed, before it can be cleared for issue of a passport. Please approach Superintendent (Enquiry) on any working day, between 0930 hrs and 1200 hrs.
Please provide details of your correct date of birth with proof such as Birth certificate issued by the Registrar of Births if born on or after[protected]or) School Certificate.Also provide correct place of birth with details of village, district and state."

what are we suppose to do now ?
should we go and meet the superintendent (enquiry)?
if so should I take my mom along with me?
can this issue be solved at our local place(raichur, karnataka)?

I was appling for a new passport dated on April'08.My file no.is GZBA00800408 .Police verification was done on April'08.After 15 days a phone call was received by me from a mobile no. [protected] for meeting at the gate of Moolchand's resorts on meerut road, Muzaffarnagar(U.P). I met himand he asked for Rs.3000 for LIU verification. I was not agree with him.As a result the processing of passport was old on....

I applied for Reissue of my passport along with a minor name change (My old passport spelled my name as Yatindra instead of Yatinder and didnt include my surname). File Reference Number : DLH-F[protected] Application Date :[protected]. Applied at RPO, New Delhi.
I submitted the application on 6th of April 2009 along with all the required documents and News paper cuttings and affidavit etc. Police verification was done within 15 days of submitting the application. In the mid of May month, the status website for the passport showed "Police Report is clear. Application is under process."
Its been more than 1 and a half month but the website is still showing the same status without any change or any progress.
Pls. someone help to expedite the application processing as i need the passport to travel urgently. I applied for the reissue thinking that I will get the passport in a month or and a half at max; but its nearing 3 months already but I dont see any progress.

I hope can get this resolved ASAP.

I am a Civil Engineering Student from VIT University. I have to apply for GRE Examination. I have also applied for SAP (Study Abroad Programme) wherein I would like to pursue my last semester in an university on other country. For this purpose I require the Passport immediately. Without the Passport No. I can not write the examination. Please help me in giving the passport within 10 days.
I have applied on 10th November, 2008.

Already 7 months are over. In newspapers you are all claiming that the passport will be given in 3 to 4 months. What is this. Kindly do not play with the life of students like me. Kindly issue me the passport immediately.

I am a legal citizen, having lot of confidence and belief on our constitution. I can not pay any extra money, even if anybody demands. Please issue the passport with in 10 days.

The funniest and pittiest thing is the status is not updated in the computer even after 7 months. Eighth month running. How sad. God only has to help the students like me. Instead of money,

Kindly avoid this type of misleading. Please issue me the passport and help me pursue further studies.

Already I am spending for my education. To get the passport I cannot spend more money. I cannot go to mediaters. I am believing the staff of passport office. Kindly help me in sending the passport immediately.

I have applied for AUS PR two yr back, 2 months ago a case officer has been assigned to me and asked for further documentation including PCC. I have supplied all the documentation except for PCC. Just 5 month back only I shifted to Hyderabad from Delhi (Jan 2008 to Dec 2008).

Now I have applied for PCC at Hyderabad Passport office on 08 May 09. 25 May 09 they have generated a letter, your Police clearance is not received if it is not received with in 15 days it ll be closed. I received this letter on 12 June09.

Unfortunately I went and enquired at passport office on 02 June09. They said that, the PP form has been sent to wrong area, you need to submit once again and I did the same.

Now Hyderabad police verification completed. For Delhi verification I enquire on 13 June 09 to the concern police station (Vasanth vihar) they said the PP form not received.

My query is, if I get PCC from Delhi personally and submit to Hyd Passport office, whether they will accept and give PCC for me or not. If so how do I approach to get PCC form Delhi? Is there any agent to do this?

Please advice me to get the PCC ASAP.

I applied for my Wife's Passport Kolkata Passport office. Few days back I received the Passport. But in that My Wife's Name spelling is incorret. In the Passport Application form we have mentioned the correct spelling of her Name, not only on that, each submitted documents, signed photo carried the right spelling of her name.It shows the negligence of the concerned people even in country's highest citizenship proof.
Incorrect spelling of name printed on Passport : MANISHI PATRA
Correct Spelling of Name should be : MANASHI PATRA

Please let me know the process to get it corrected and how much time the whole process will take. Do I need to pay any fees.

I applied my passport in the month ogf october -2008 and policy enquiry was completed in decmeber 2008, but still now passport has not been received and status Enquiry is showing "police report has not been submited", where police enquiry has been completed .My file number is HYDW60517608.

This is Ch NIKHITHA, I applied for the PassPort in Hyderabad Post Office : Begumpet with the file Reference No: HYDW60285409.
I hav been waiting for the Police verification since more than 3 months i.e, from 28/02/2009 to 09/06/2009 and there is
no verification has been done till now and i hav checked the status on the internet, which says that "Police Verification Report has not yet been received". This is sheer irresponsibility on the part of the authorities concerned. The Passport is said to be delivered in 90 days, but in my case atleast the verification has not yet been done.

How can i know the exact status where my application is ?
Please help me to know the status of my application, whether it has been sent for police verification or
at whose end it is pending.

I have applied for my passport on April 9th 2009 in Mangalore passport office (SP office) and police enquiry has been done on April 24th 2009 from Mangalore and may 12th 2009 from Alleppey that is my native. However we didn't receive any updates on this till date. When I checked the status in the site it’s giving: "Your police verification report has not been received by us yet. You may like to follow up with the concerned police authorities. If you need your passport urgently, you have the option of applying under tatkaal, with a Verification Certificate (Annexure-F). "

It’s really urgent because my probation period in my company is extended, as I have not submitted a valid passport. Without which confirmation will not happen. It may lead to termination of my job. To avoid any of these situations I need to know about the details of my passport.

My file No. is GZB A011330 09. I had submitted my application 09 Mar 2009 in the office of Regional Paasport Office Gaziabad, U.P. My Passpoprt has not been delivered till now. The WEB SITE of the office has been showing since last four weeks that the Passport will be delivered within a week's time. Please advise me the correct status of my application.

Along with my application my family members had also applied for the passports on the same day i.e. 09 Mar 2009. All these passports have been delivered except mine.

This is regarding my and my wife's passport case numbers m040015 and m040016 which are subimitted on 02/22 for correction of mispelled wrong name. we did not recieve the passport untill now.

we have been waiting for it from last 2 months and when are enquiring about it at hyderabad passport office evey week and we were told that we will recieve in 2 weeks but nothing showed up unitll now.

A 008000 on the 8th of May, 2008 for getting a fresh passport at Regional Passport Office (RPO), Guwahati, Assam, India. Subsequently the local police station called me up for the Police Verification Process and collected the requisite documents. But even after about eleven (11) months of submitting the application, i have not received the passport. The status in the official Indian Passport website shows that 'Police Verification report has not been received'. I am at a loss to understand how am i supposed to proceed as i need my passport badly in connection to my going abroad.
