I am Anjan Goswami a full time employee of IBM. i had applied for passport on 20/09/2008 from Bangalore (RPO).For the last three & half months i am watching no update in the status of my passport application. Since October It is saying that " Your Police Verification report has been received by us, and your file is in line for further processing. "

My police verification in Current residential address which is in Bangalore happened on 13th october 2008 but my permanent address police verification (which is West Bengal) have not happened yet.

I had Given a Undertaking to IBM that i will submit my passport within 120 days after application. but the undertaking is going to expire on 22nd February 2009.failing to which may lead to termination of my job in IBM. In this situation please take necessary action so that i can get my passport at earliest.& Also tell me can i apply for a new passport in TATKAL scheme as no passport has not been processed yet/passport number isn’t allotted to me & how can I cancel the Bangalore passport application without going Bangalore if I want to apply for fresh tatkal?

Hi, I had applied for my wife's and sons (minor) during the month of october 2008. I received my wife's passport this week after 3 and half months and still now did not receive my sons. Passport enquirey reference number J20027308. This is pathetic.

I have applied my Passport application on 21/01/2009 at Theni Collector Office and My Web file No:MDUI011069 09, File No:MDUZ900137 09. I have done the Police verification also at my local police station on 28/01/2009.Now I could not find the status of My application on the http://passportstatus.nic.in/passmain.php?city=mdu web site because it is giving the error message as File Reference Number (MDU-I[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT available.

Please provide the information about my application as soon as possible on the web.

sir..i have submitted my new borns pp in general category but i need to leave india immediately as i got call from the hospital to join my job immediately.i need to go as soon asn possible or lese i wioll loose my job .i need to conveert this general into tatkal category..plz plz help me out .i have been to passport office but no information given or help plz help me as i will losse my job if i dont leave immediately .i cant leave my new bron here and go

I hav been completed the Police verification in september of 2008.

when i asked the police who has enquired me he said that my application was sent from machlipatnam to hyd on 28/08/2008 with the dispatch no 483

when i hav checked the status in the internet it was coming as "Police Report has not been received".
so, how can i know the exact status where my application is ?

I had applied of passport in the 16/01/2008 at Guwahati Passport office having File no A-000789, The police verification was done twice.The Supdt of Police office office Tinsukia told that the Police report was alredy send to the passport office but while checking the passport office site there was noted the police verification report was not received. I had many times approch to the Passport office as well as to the Supdt. office but all in vain,

Please do the needful from your end & oblige.

THEY TOLD ME, YOUR POLICE VERIFICATION REPORT HAS SENT TO VISAKHAPATNAM PASSPORT OFFICE IN OCTOBER, 2008..

ON 21ST JANUARY 2009, I SENT ONE MAIL TO grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in REGARDING THIS ISSUE. NOT YET RECEIVE ANYTHING ABOUT MY PASSPORT..PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION.

With due regards I would like to inform you that I had applied for my passport on 26th May 2008 and the details of it is as follows:Name-SK SAMIM FERDOWS, File Ref. No -A04085708 & City CAL..The police verification in my local police station which is Haripal had been completed by the end of 3rd week of July 2008 & was forwarded to the District DIB Headquarters at CHINSURAH on[protected] for onward submission to the kolkata passport office for delivery. I am a general citizen of India without any involvement with any political organizations .But sorry to say that an unlimited time has passed but tha status shows that the police verification has not been received by the passport office of kolkata.I am at a loss & would be greatly obliged if you please look into the matter at your earliest.

I was apply application for a fresh passport at passport office Bhopal (M.P.) on dated 25/02/2007 by speed post. My passport return in my address becoz i was in out of station dt 27/06/2008.

then i was meet to passport officer and give a application for resending my passport with address proff and photoin nov/2008 then again send whole document including application, address proof, photograph by speed post dt 28/12/2008 to Bhopal passport office.
but my passport was not send today.
sir i was again meet to passport officer and give application in 05/01/09.
So, please take necessary action to issue of my passport.

This is Vishal Gohil, My file No. is P046090, dated 15-Dec-2008. I have submitted all documents required for proof. For home address I have submitted one year bank statement, address on Companys letter head (Tata Technologies), Ration card etc. Policepersonal has come to my flat & personally did verification all is correct but when I went to police station Mr. Avathe (Pimpri-Chinchwad Police station) told me that you are not having aggreement U & society papper etc. so we will reject you passport like that they are threatening me. My name is Surinder, i have applied for passport application twice from "Hyderabad passport regional office" and both time its getting closed after 1 year duration.

First time i have applied in Sep 2006 (H028839) and its getting closed because that time i didn't had enough stay time in hyderabd(6- 7 months) and its getting closed after 1 year.

Second time, i reapplied in Oct 2007(W235545),...
