WHEN I HAVE FILL THE NEW APPLICATION FORM ON 2nd SEPTEMBER 2008. THERE I MENTION MY TWO ADDRESS

IN MY FORM ONE IS MY PARMANENT ADDRESS(KOLKATA ) AND OTHER IS MY COLLAGE ADDRESS FROM WHERE I STUDYED MY DIPLOMA ENGINEERING FROM JULY 2005 TO JULY 2008(ASANSOL, BURDAWAN).

At my present and permanent address MR.P SINGH is doing enquiry and at my collage address MR G. NAYAK.

Last month my all enquiry is completed but when I check my status on internet then there was showing police report has not been received.

Then I meet with MR.P SINGH(KOLKATA) AND I talk with him about this problem then he suggest me to fill a P.P FORM and I fill that at on 14th october at brabourne road office. And after that same massage is sowing on net enquiry. but yesterday on 23rd oct'2008 it shows that POLICE REPORT IS INCOMPLETE AND THE CASE IS BEING EXAMINED.

Hi This is Balaji Venkataraman. I received my passport on feb 2008 and found that my sur name was left out in the passport. I requested them for the procedure to add my surname and there was no reply. Can anyone suggest me the procedure for adding the surname in my passport

There is 1 alphabet missing in father’s name in my Passport.
Passport was issued from Lucknow last year.

I agree with santhosh, because this mistake is done by Passport officials, we wrote the correct name when filling the application form.

The Actual Reason of making mistake in spelling — Made Spelling mistake in Address

You are appointing such person those who don't know the proper english, when voter is coming for scaning his photo for identity card that time, who ever person set for scanning, and what ever he type the spelling, according to you is correct but after when the photo id is reached to voters hand and when he saw the mistake then again he has to run away here and there.

To avoid all this please make easiest way to resolve this problem.
you can resolve this by putting all this on website with proper documentation.

I don't assume but now I have full believe that Lucknow Passport Office is the worst Office in all over India.
I applied my Passport in year 2006 and got it in year 2008, It took 2 years time to complete my passport after alot of rigrous follow up. After my marriage I applied the Passport for my wife it again took 9 months to complete during this period I suffered a lot equally I lost so many opportunities related to my Career. Again the time came to make the passport for my SON...Believe me I have got it after 7 Months but the name mentioned in the Passport is wrong. Now I have been doing the followup here and there but nothing is coming out.

I would be happy if this message can pe passed to goverment top officials so that they see this condition. Its better if Govt can not control these departments in a right way then It should go for some other Options...Privatization is also a better solution for it.

My passport was issued in the year 1998 (Manual) and it is vallied upto 2018. I had visited Germany in 2007. The hand written details are not clearly visible (Faded).

Just now I went through the procedures.
1. Need to go in person to Passport office Chennai, numgabakam.
2. U have to stand in Enquiry queue and tell them the reason, they will sign off and send u to the respective officer.
3. U have to pay 20 Rs, he may ask u to come on the same day eve. To show from which side the mistake has happened.
4. I[censored] inform them that u have made the mistake @ the enquiry desk, they will let u know the procedure.
5. Mistake from our side, u have to apply for fresh application as re-issue. For that u have to apply online.
6. To stand in enquiry queue, u have to be there by 7Am, then only u will be able to meet the officer in time. by 1 o clock every activity gets closed there. And u know the state of government office working. Hope for the best.

My wife's name spelling has been wrongly printed on her passport. In the application form she mentioned name as LATA NAUTIYAL, which has been wrongly mentioned as LATA NATUTIYAL. I got my passport in 2006 with my surname spelt incorrectly in the application submitted itself.
It is spelt as KHAMBHAMPATI instead of KHAMBHAMPATI which is as per all teh academic documents.
Now if this has to be corrected, can I directly submit in the correction counter at Secunderabas Passport office as per the below process?
If the mistakes were made in the original application form, can I apply for the correction in category 'R' by submitting form no. 1 (The Application form which is used for getting new passport, now for a re-issue of passport ) and would it require a fee of Rs.1000/ . Dear sir i applied passport at Hyderabad psk police verification was done but he wrote person was not living in present address lat 2yers so write now what i am doing plz help me

I have tried to apply for fresh passport using online registration. whenever i try to book the slot it shows next day after 7:30 PM you can book the slots. when i try to log into passport website and try to book the slot at 7:30 PM sharp, it prompts me again for next day.

When i went and inquired at the passport office, found couple of brokers who can get the online slot in 2 days. This has been really a very pathetic situation for me since one month.

I am unable to submit passport application form online, the system through brokers was much better where you filled in the application form by hand and it was submitted by the broker or you could directly submit at the counter.I am told that you can now submit only online.Is there any way to submit the forms at the counter.Also the brokers say they have become broke because they don t know anything about online registration of passport applications.Is it really fare to just compell everyone to be at the mercy of online registration?

My name is SIDDHANTH KARAK, i stays in Siliguri, in Champasari.i have filled the form of passport in the month of October, later in the month of November i got the appointment date and after that on 15th December i got the file no. (CAL-A[protected] and after that i asked the officer when i get the passport they told me i will get it in the month of February and told me to track the status and in between i will had a police verification. And after that then i am tracking the status of passport in (www.passport.gov.in) status is showing police clearance not yet received, after that on 9th February, 2012, status showed passport is dispatched. after that again on 25th February again status showed due to unavoidable circumstances passport is not yet dispatched. After that i met will the Siliguri zonal officer for passport several times, but every time he consoled me with different excuses. but now it is more than 6-7 months, it is high time, i not yet received my passport so please look into the matter.
