I have tried to apply for fresh passport using online registration. whenever i try to book the slot it shows next day after 7:30 PM you can book the slots. when i try to log into passport website and try to book the slot at 7:30 PM sharp, it prompts me again for next day.

When i went and inquired at the passport office, found couple of brokers who can get the online slot in 2 days. This has been really a very pathetic situation for me since one month.

I am unable to submit passport application form online, the system through brokers was much better where you filled in the application form by hand and it was submitted by the broker or you could directly submit at the counter.I am told that you can now submit only online.Is there any way to submit the forms at the counter.Also the brokers say they have become broke because they don t know anything about online registration of passport applications.Is it really fare to just compell everyone to be at the mercy of online registration?

Myself Mrs.Dipali Deb,age 63 years who have to go abroad for my treatment.I have applied for the passport of 4th July'2011,but till date I have not received any passport of mine.I have visited the passport office ,Brabourne Road,Kolkata,they said that I would be receiving the passport within 15 days,but many 15 days have passed away,I have not received any.

I have completed all the verification details..In their website,it's written since 3 months that "due to unavoidable situation,we regret of not despatching the passport,however,it would be despatched in a week's time."

My name is SIDDHANTH KARAK, i stays in Siliguri, in Champasari.i have filled the form of passport in the month of October, later in the month of November i got the appointment date and after that on 15th December i got the file no. (CAL-A[protected] and after that i asked the officer when i get the passport they told me i will get it in the month of February and told me to track the status and in between i will had a police verification. And after that then i am tracking the status of passport in (www.passport.gov.in) status is showing police clearance not yet received, after that on 9th February, 2012, status showed passport is dispatched. after that again on 25th February again status showed due to unavoidable circumstances passport is not yet dispatched. After that i met will the Siliguri zonal officer for passport several times, but every time he consoled me with different excuses. but now it is more than 6-7 months, it is high time, i not yet received my passport so please look into the matter.
