I received the Passport today. passport no.K6376182

There is a miss print of Name In the Passport

Name Printed : Ruhi Nandan
Actual Name: Runi Nandan

In all the supportive document submitted Name "RUNI NANDAN" is mentioned. but due to Wrong Punching the name is miss printed.

Please let me know about how i can make this correction.

I have submitted the form with the certificates required for the passport on 28th may, till today (25th september) I haven't received my passport.I have checked my online status several time, at first they were saying that police verification has been cleared and now the status is -'it is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time'. Again on 21st sep I got a letter saying that I have to attend the passport adalat on 22nd sep. I met them and now they are saying that your verification form is missing. Is it my fault? if they cannot look after the things properly then why are they sitting on such reputed places. I want my passport as soon as possible, my husband is going out of India on 20th oct. :(

there is unnecessy delay in delievery of passport while it is said speedpost but there is nothing speedy in it, its just showoff which shows packect sent to here and there now look in to snapshot if they recieved it on 20th sep then how they delievered it on 19th sep. its 3rd after deleivery and n ordinary letter can reach destination in 3 days then how it is said a speed post.......please justify

Hi, My name is Shaba Zaheer, I had applied passport file no. A073332 dt 25-nov-2011 and the police verification has been done but till date i have not received my passport. I had already visited Regional Passport Office (Bhikaji Cama Place) 1 times and meet the PRO but not get any response from his side. Passport site shows "Police Report is clear. Application is under process."but till date they have not dispatched the passport.

Please look into this matter and take urgent action on priority. I am very thankful to you.

I have applied for a fresh passport on 01/05/2012. In the portal when I check the status it says "Pending for physical police verification at your respective Thana under SP Office, District Jorhat." But my PVR has already been sent from my District SP Office on 20/062012.

It has been more than 2 and half months but I haven't received the Passport.

I HAD APPLIED FOR MY PASSPORT ON 18TH MAY BUT SINCE THEN I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY CALLS NOR I HAD ANY ONE TO VISIT MY PLACE FOR VERIFIACATION. WHEN CHECKED WITH THE PASSPORT AUTHORITY THEY HAVE ASKED US TO GO FOR POLICE STATION . I HAD BEEN TOO BUT NO USE . THEY HAVE REFUSED TO SIGN THE DOCUMENTS SINCE THERE IS A SMALL CHANGE IN THE ADDRESS BY THE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY THEY HAVE CHANGED THE CROSS FROM 3RD CROSS TO 8TH CROSS THERE ARE ASKING US TO PRODUCE DOCUMENTS IN RELATION TO THAT BUT HOW CAN I . I CANT CHANGE MY DL NOW NOR CAN I CHANGE MY VOTERS ID . WHAT SHOULD I DO CAN I GET SOME ANSWER WHEN THERE IS NO MISTAKES OF MY WHY SHOULD I BE TROUBLED SO MUCH.

my wife applied for the passport on March 2012, at Lucknow office.
My police enquiry was done on april by kareli police station, allahabad. Where as status still shows "police enquiry has not been received" its about more than 150 days to apply my passport & I still awaiting the same and i want to know how much time does it take to process police verification whether it is positive or negative and what is the duration of limitation of police verification.
On your site passport processing time is max three month while four month is going on till date no passport is received.

Please do the needful regarding the same and inform me as soon as possible.

no progress in passport issue
hello there. mysel[censored]sha yadav...my passport file no is DLH-Z[protected] which i had applied in march 2011. i had a bit issue of fathers complete name and his name initials on documents. they asked me for an affidevit which i submitted..they did police re verification which i was been confirmed by the visited officer that everything is fine and will get my passport soon. i have been visiting whole year and submitted each and every document they asked for. everytime i was get assured that i will get my passport soon. but my status still same ie meet pro. nothing changed in whole year in my progress. now i am married and shifted from delhi to mumbai...now please somebody help me can i apply for new and fresh passport from mumbai..should i cancel previous application.what will be the problems if i try to cancel previous application for passport..please someone help me and advice me..

I had submitted my passport application on 04/04/2012. The status reads: Police Verification (PV) has been initiated and a PV request has been sent to DCSC Office, District Kolkata. Your passport will be dispatched after Clear Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. My File no is: CA[protected]. What does DCSC office mean? I went to the passport office of Kolkata.They have not received any file for police verification...

my children at Tirunelveli Passport officeTamil nadu India and its file numbers are

But the officer who deals the file unwantedly delaying to issue the same and holding the file . By force he has taken some written statement from my wife.

based on that written statement , he refused to issue the children passports even we submitted detailed required documents on 31.7.12(second time)

So kindly look in to the matter personally and give justice to issue the children passports.

I am Yati maheshwari from Ghaziabad U.P. I had applied for Passport on 07 feb 2012. I had Submitted all the necessary documents along with the application form. i had done my police verification and that things you need required. finally i had done is the documentations. But till date I had not received my passport. I had enquired many times to the regional passport office Ghaziabad, but they did,nt give any reply . THIS IS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE OVER 9 MONTHS NOW. DELHI OFFICE HAS NOT BOTHER TO REPLY BACK TO AHMEDABAD OFFICE REGARDING TO THIS. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATED IF DELHI OFFICE CAN TOOK A LOOK AT HIS APPLICATION AND REPLY BACK TO AHMEDABAD OFFICE ON WHAT ACTION THEY NEED TO TAKE TO PROCESS HIS APPLICATION.
