My wife has been applied for the miscellaneous services ( 1.Adding my name as spouse 2. Spelling correction of Address) to her existing passport on 10-Sept-2009 at Hyderabad passport office.

While submitting the application,passport officer informed us that we will receive her new passport in next 8-10days.But it has been 20days by now and haven't receive our passport.In passport website it is showing as "Police Report has not been received"

As my wife delivered baby girl yesterday in Hyderabad , she can't come to passport office directly to track the status.

Could you please understand our situation and help us in issuing the passport within a week sir. Because we want to apply for my baby passport ASAP to travel to Australia on Oct 25th.

It would be really great and kindness, If you could look into our issue and help us in issuing my wife passport as soon as possible.

Sub: Issue of Passport delayed

This is to bring to your kind notice that I Mr.Talamala Kiran Kumar Roy with File No. A013004 had applied for a passport on 12th Feb, 2008 and till now I have not received any passport from RPO, Secunderabad. The Police Personnel has completed his verification and he told that the Passport may be delivered within 15 to 20 days after the Police verification. But in the meanwhile, I received a computer generated reminder where it says that I am already holding a passport. When I checked with Passport officials they have shown my old application which I had applied in the year 2000 and 2001 (Exact year I can’t remember) for a passport where Police verification has been completed and passport was not issued. At that time I was staying in a small room at Ramnagar for rent which belonged to my relatives, I was a bachelor then, when my parents came back from my hometown to Hyderabad we planned to take a big house for rent so from there we shifted to Tatachary Compound, Opp.St.Mary’s High School, Secunderabad. I used to enquire my relatives about my passport delivery, but whenever I call they told me that there was no passport issue in my name.


So I thought that they might have closed my file or they might have missed my file somewhere else. Keeping this in view, I had applied online on 12th Feb, 2008, but I didn’t that I would face a bitter experience from the RPO, forwarding a copy to mentioning that I am already holding a passport, really I was shocked to go through the computer generated copy from RPO. When I attended the Passport Adalat they told me that I was holding a passport, and I need to surrender the old passport to get the new one, If I were taken the old passport, why I will apply for a fresh passport. I asked the passport officials how they can issue the passport when the candidate is not staying in the address, it should have redirected to the passport office and kept in the custody. How it could be delivered without a candidates signature or his presence, if so please give the details of the (Passport No., Passport delivery date and expiry date) so that I can file a case against that number to Police to locate where it is and with whom it is. Because of somebody I should not land into troubles.

As per your records, if my passport had been issued please give the details of the passport to me so that I can file a complaint to Police to trace out to whom the passport has been delivered. In the earlier correspondence I had furnished all my details to passport office in Passport Adalat. There is neither proper response from passport officials nor advice/suggestions given to the applicants.




Presently, I am working as an Assistant Officer in Human Resources Department for an Prestigious Engineering Company. I am paid very low salary where I need to check all my family requirements, due to the exorbitant rents in the Hyderabad city, we are forced to vacate the houses by the Landlords and get shifted to the nearby areas where we can afford for a low rented houses.

Hoping that you would revoke my case and do the justice by issuing my passport. Please do the needful at the earliest.

Passport Office - Hyderabad — Re-Issue Passport not received

Dear Sir/Madam
I, Upadrasta Venkata Krishna Mohan, have applied for re-issuance of my passport on 01-April-2008. A formal police enquiry also happened around the 1st week of May-2008. Reference-no given to me is 'F012422' and I neither received any further communication nor my re-issued passport till date and the website does not show any status against my reference number. The enquiry numbers given on the website are always engaged!!! Its a very pathetic situation to be in where you cannot meet the concerned people as the queues at the passport office are so bad that they demand me taking an off for the whole day. I already did that once and after going through all the process the only information I get is to wait as it should reach me in a week. I do not have any more leaves to spare and am so appalled and dis-appointed with this dis-organised process. I have already raised a couple of grievances for the last 3 weeks and one such reference number is [F[protected]HYD/23Jul2008] but got no response for any of these either!!!

Any help/direction in this issue is very much apprecited...

Personal — delay under tatkal

dear sir,

I (shalini singh) applied for tatkaal passport for my mother on 07/08/2008 at lucknow office and till today its not been delivered, it has been more than two months then why is it called tatkaal.I paid Rs 2500 for this service because it was urgent for us.
It brings us great displeasure in the government service wherein we are promised (as legal citizens of India) a passport within 7 days and now its nearly three months gone and i m still empty hand

Passport under Tatkal scheme - More than two months no update:

I applied the passport for my son - Nikhil Krishna Namshamgari on March 18th, 2009 via Tatkal. According to this Taakal schema we should have received his passport by March 24th, 2009. I never received and no status hence went personally to the passport office to check the status then I was notify of some missing documents. I handed over all missing documents on April 6th, 2009. It been more than a month and I still have no status on this. The status doesnot show anything when checked online. I called the helpline[protected], 27704646, 27704747,[protected]with no response from any of these. I also met the PRO officer in person, according to whom I donot have any pending documents to be submitted. They further say that it was assigned on 8th May and dispatched on May 14th.

I met the PRO officer again and now the status was that it was in the dispatch section and would take some time. how long -- he never mentioned. I and my family have taken many days off of work just to get this sorted in vain. My husband in US is eagerly waiting for us.I am deeply disappointed with this issue. Even under tatkaal we have been waiting for 2 months, still donot receive any proper status on any of my visits. I sincerely appreciate if you could expidieate and advise us on how to proceed. regional passport hyderabad — Delay in delivery tatkal Passport

I have applied for passport in tatkaal scheme on 31st Oct 2011, My delivery status was showing that "passport was ready on 8th Nov 2011".But still I did not get my passport. Why am I giving complaint about this is I have urgency in getting passport. I am bit afraid whether I may loose my on opportunities due to this.
I hope you might resolve my problem and will take an appropriate action on this.

this is karthik, i hae applied passport in tatkal sceme on 25th may2009, i should get my passport with in 7 days as per rules.
but i didn't get my passport as of now, passport employee are not responding my calls for enquiry.
so, it's a waste of time to apply in tatkal scene and govt employee are waste to submit it in time.
we are still backward due to this govt. neglectism.FIGHT ANTI AGAINST GOVT.

First thing Employee don't know how to guide the public. When submitting the application by person. They should not accept if any doc is missing. They have to guide the people what is missing and requirements. Changing in the website is funny. it looks passport office phone numbers are working only for their personal calles. They never answer the phones. What a pity...

Govt Employee — non receipt of passport

On expiry of my passport i.e. 24/04/2009 I applied for re-issue of fresh passport through eseva centre on the 02/05/2009. Subsequent to that the police verification has also been completed in the first week of June 2009. As I am a central govt. employee and I have submitted the necessary documents along with all the essential documents along with the passport. When checked in the webiste for the status of my passport it shows that the police verification is yet to be done. Please kindly help me in getting my passport issued at the earliest.

i got a message saying your subscription to CRBt service has been renewed at Rs.30 for the period of 30days.To unsubscribe sms unsub 1003 to 155223.They send the message by deducting 30rs,I Have Un subscribed by the not remitted to balance.I have visted the Reliance World at paridese they register my compilant they said that in two working days remitted the amount of rs 30,But again they have deducted 30rs for same.If is not retified i will compilant in consumer forum.

I too faced same kind of situation and Experience.Every clerk at passport office feels like he is passport officer.Indian external affairs ministry Please look in to this ASAP.

The Regional Passport office in Hyderabad is become in all Indian Offices, they are not working at all, they have pending passport for 4 months speacially, minors passports where there is no need for any police inquiry, becuase of these currupt officers NRI's facing lot of problems, I apeal to the External Ministry of Indian to take immdiately action against these officers and keep track of the work done everyday now more 150000 passports are pending within 4 months.

At the sametime I want to ask our Chief Minister to take necessary action otherwise public will change their minds

Have been standing in queue as online appointment for tatkal not available, provided 6 numbers of RPO, the staff does not pick up. The security people at gate are charging Rs 600 to get entry. Even for gaining access to reception/enquiry being asked to give Rs 100.

Can't agree more with you. Today, after a five hour stand before the passport office, I was one of the many poor souls who could only found themselves wondering why they didn't part from those precious 1000 bucks which would've pushed them in, through the gates. It's a really pathetic state that we're in. My experience with the Chennai PO, on the other hand, was pretty impressive. I walked in at around 10 AM(my train was late) and know what... I could get a tatkal token on my daughter's passport application (Can you believe it???) and by about 3.30 in the evening, I was out of the office with the fee receipt in my hand. Needless to say, I've taken the decision at 12.00PM today, to go to Chennai, for my passport renewal as well. Too much of corruption/correction/collection - whatever. Hyd PO suckss!!!

What he experienced are facts he has done his work cheaply paying Rs.5000/- directly to the concerned officer. Had he gone through broker he should have paid much more than what he paid. RPO Hyd staff always feel that they are working only on brokers commissions. The same is police verifications.

This is with reference to my P.C.C.(police clearance certificate) bearing file no M014504 here want to convey my message to the regional passport office through your advertisement "Speak Out". I have applied for the P.C.C as the same is compulsory for traveling to G.C.C countries and at the time of submission on 29th of March 2010 i was informed that it will take around 15 to 20 days to get the P.C.C. Now its around 1 month i have received my P.C.C.

Further to the above when ever i call the help line provided no one responding and when log in to check my status the message displayed is information not available.

I request the concerned official to look in to the matter and do the needful.

My name is Shainu Govindankutty, Am a resident in Kuwait, I had got family visa for my family who are residing in Hyderabad and as the new rule of Kuwait to get PCC for the Family after which only the Visa will be stamped by Kuwait Embassy in Delhi. My Wife had applied for PCC almost one and half months back but still when i check the status online it says Police Report not receievd, we enquired the local police station and they said no file has come from Passport office and if it comes only they can come for verification.

My Wife's name is Priya Govindan and I have a daughter who is going to be two years old.
They had applied for PCC on[protected] and the file reference No is :HYD-M[protected].

To kind information the validity of Visa is for 3 months and the Visa holder should enter the country within three months, already 1 and half months have passed because of he delay being caused by Regional Passport office in issuing the PCC ( which we have not got so far) and after we receive i need my family to go for medical and then the Visa needs to be stamped by Kuwait Embassy Delhi which also requires 2 weeks plus . My main worry is the delay being caused for getting the PCC will make the VISA invalid as it has got only three months Validity.

So dear sir/madam please help us and let us know why such delays are taking place.

They didnt get responce at passport is from surat.

I have applied for the PCC on 6/11/2010. Am posting this comment today i.e. 7th December 2010. Hooray its been more than a month and i haven't recieved my PCC. Great Job Guys and the Good thing is that i checked with the concerned Commisonerate office and they says that they haven't received any Appication from the Passport Office. Good job guys keep it up you people don't care about the Student's Life and as the Matter of the Fact You are aware without PCC nobody can file VISA. Once again Great JOB Passport Officers keep up the Good Work. Ashamed to be Indian. Jai Ho

I have the same problem but it has been 47 since i submitted my passport for the PCC. i need it for my immigration to the US where my husband stays and these people are just asking more and more money!! please do something.
