I would like to say that the security here is completely corrupted and some brokers also stand outside who with the help of the security officials malign with the process. It's really embarrassing that the office of such a high class is maintained in a very unethical manner. I would also like to tell that no process is followed here in a proper manner. It's really bad. The way all the officials here treat the people is like they are ruling us. Compared to Passport Seva Kendra, Regional passport office Kolkata is very unorganised and typical government offices which people are fed up of.

With due respect to your kind attention, i'd like to inform you that on 8th Feb. 2017 I've received a massage from the passport massenger, that my passport is dispatched . The passport is delivered to my house from the post office on 11th feb. 2017. unfortunately i am unable to attend there in my house to receive the passport from the postman. Therefore, the passport is returned to the regional passport office kolkata.
I, therefore, request you to please dispatch my passport from your side. I will be thankfull to you.

Dear sir,

This is to bring to your notice that i have applied for passport on 20-may-2016 (Ca[protected] with the reference to my wife address proof mentioned in her address passport no (L1135698). My police verification came as an adverse report cause the police officer (M. Ali) came for verification was not convince as because, as husband i am residing at my wife address (In laws) it’s a shame for being a man staying at your wife address and also my birth location is mumbai. Also he mentioned in the report that i am not residing there, and i suppressed the address, which is not the cause i am staying at the address mentioned and i have not surpassed anything.

I got a letter from regional passport office ask me submit pp form. The next day i went to regional passport regional office kolkata, submitted the pp form with all the necessary document and also they ask me to submit a penalty of rs 5000 for suppressing the address. I requested them tell all the incident but they were continuously asking for the penalty.
I have paid the penalty, post that my application was not moving anywhere, day on i visited them they told that my birth certificate has gone for verification in mumbai in the month of august 2016.

Every week i use to go to the regional passport office to check on my passport application status but reply is report has not yet come from mumbai. They behave very badly asking “if you have so much of problem go to mumbai municipal corporation and ask them to release your report”.

My father worked in indian navy and it was a transferable job and my birth place in mumbai but the officer at the regional office behaving as such as if to take birth in any other indian state is a crime and also i told them repeatedly that the birth certificate is not a mandatory document to submit for those whose birth year is before 1989.

So i request to the authority to look into my case, we are salaried person bearing 5000 rupees is not an easy task and couldn’t join any it company due to non-availability of my passport.

I'm Atanu Bandyopadhyay. My passport is received with some technical issues due to which its unable to be scanned in airport check points. And whenever I raised a complain, I was requested to appear physically in the passport office.

I am asking, when I have submitted all the documents properly so whose fault is this??
And I stay in Mumbai and how is it possible to appear in Kolkata for again and again when I have cleared all the procedures???

I would like to request the concern team to take proper action against that so that the common people don't have to suffer in such a way.

I have submitted my passport form on 23/06/2016 under normal scheme, my file no. Is ca[protected], om prakash sharma, dob - 05/02/1994. I have checked my passport status online pending for physical police verification at respective thana under commissioner of police, district bardhaman.
Sir two month se above ho raha hain, online status pending bata raha hain, aur mein local police ke pass jakar pata lagya, avi tak omprakash sharma ke naam se documents nahi aayah hain. Toh sir delay kiun lag raha hain.

I received a letter (attached herewith) stating that I m not the citizen of India.

I was shocked for sometime while reading the letter and confused why I have been stated so.Serving the country for long 5 years in development sector for the cause of street children, waste pickers, cancer Children now the country is ignoring me to represent as the citizen.

Is all because I have refused to pay bribe of 14000. I have no idea where to put this application, where to raise my voice in media, alternative media, or to the large NGO field.

I have already submitted my Master's degree, voter I card, aadhar card, my father/ mother voter card, documents of my parents since 1970. Why should i submit again as because you are in power. What happen to the officer who charge me for 14000?


Today i dont know where to put my application or to raise my voice but i will not stop here.

Sir, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I have applied for fresh passport more than 3 years ago on 4th May 2012 with File number CA[protected]. Police verification for my passport has been already done long back but whenever I enquired about the status I was told that it is under review in RPO. Next time after repeated enquiry to the Regional Passport office I was informed that I need to attend Birth place verification at Barrackpore DIB office. But whenever I enquired about the same at Titagarh Police Station and Barrackpore D.I.B. office they would say that no such passport file with the same file no has arrived in their hands for verification. Even I tried to reach out to Consumer Forum regarding this delay. After undergoing through this situation for long 2 years I received a letter from the passport office claiming that I am not a citizen of India. Even though I have a valid Pan Card, Ration card and most importantly Voter Id card and I also voted this time in India; still I have to face this claim against me. Even I am an employee of a Multi-National Organization and it is expected that they would not offer me job without proper document verification. Also from Chandannagore DIB office and Chinsurah court I got the information that they have clearly sent all the details of my Residential verification to passport office and those are not reverted back to them. At this point of time I feel myself greatly humiliated. I visited the Kolkata Regional office personally and I was instructed to submit an application to the Officer regarding Birth place verification. I completed all the formalities there and they affirmed me that they would send the file once more to Barrackpore D.I.B. office for further verification of birthplace. My birth place address is as follows: New Barrackpore Nursing Home (under Dr. Brindaban Das), 52(39) B. T. Road, Talpukur, P. S. – Titagarh, Near B. N. Bose Hospital, Kolkata – 700123 (Ph:[protected]. Birth Date: 11 Feb 1990. Even after so many efforts the Passport Application status is "Applicant Reply received" but still no actions have been taken on it. Barrackpore police station still did not get any file with my file number to verify the Birth place. PFA Passport Application status as displayed in PassportIndia website. Whenever i am enquiring about the P.O.B verification at Barrackpore they are turning deaf ears to me as this apllication was dome long back and they are lazy enough to search for it. Please take necessary actions and suggest me what should be done next.

Received Passport 2 years ago. But 2 months ago I got Show Cause Notice as my Place of Birth was not Verified. I replied of the SCN letter with Birth Certificate. Hi,
I had applied my passport on 20/11/2014. For which I had completed all the required formalities related to police verification. The police had submitted clear report against my file CA[protected].Now from past 2.5 month the status is showing that Police Verification Report for your passport application is under review at Regional Passport Office. I need my passport urgently since my husband will be travelling abroad with a long term assignment by end of March, 2015. Please help me to get my passport as soon as possible since its very urgent for me.

I was forced by COO – Pandula Sreelakshmi to write the above apology statement at a gun point, COO Pandula Sreelakshmi harassed me in such a way that she followed the racism practice all the three management people COO – Pandula Sreelakshmi, Deputy Manager - Shivdas Nair, and Manager N. Pranesh Rao, tortured me in every way she asked every employee from our team to not to talk to me not to go for lunch and not to go out with me also made me alone, she prefer only south Indians in her team, anyhow I managed to survive there for 6 months and when my confirmation was due COO- Pandula Sreelakshmi ordered MD to terminate me immediately, and MD gave the orders to terminate me and HR followed it, they bullied me and asked me to resign and they also threatened that if I won’t resign I’ll be terminated and finally that’s what they did HR gave me a termination letter mentioning that my service was unsatisfactory also they restricted me to enter the office premises when I refused it they said Ill not get the salary for the month which I worked and I got very depressed finding no option I resigned, my resignation was taken at a gun point and against my will also my 8 days salary was deducted for the month of july even after giving a proper resignation and Pandula Sreelakshmi, Shivdas Nair and Pranesh Rao has ruined my career and these people are whole and sole responsible for my current situation as my parents are dependent on me I also requested them to give me some more time to find other job but they took my resignation at a gun point.
