Passport Office Lucknow — Not Receiving of the Passport since 3 months passed

My nephew by name Mohammad Amir had applied for passport on 23.12.2014 under File No.LK[protected]. However, till date he has not received his passport and the present status is shown as Pending for physical police verification at respective Thana under SP Office, District Azamgarh. i fail to understand as to why his passport has not been dispatched by your office. as a matter of fact, his fellow companians who had submitted for passport on the same day, have already received their respective passports. kindly revert back to me immediately in order to refrain myself from taking further steps in the matter.
