My passport is pending at sp office previous 2 months after police verification
Why it takes too much time

My fathers passport file no. BO05C[protected] Has been stuck in verification for more than a month now and upon visiting the police station and the CBI office have been told I will receive the passport in 2 days and this was informed to me like 10 days ago. And then I was told the server is down when visited again. Not sure where the problem is but I will appreciate if this process gets expedited as I have my international travel planned for next week.

I had applied for my as well as 2 others family members passport on 7 April 2022 and it has been almost 2 months since then. All three passports verification from our Passport Regional Office and Police Verification was done within a weeks time and after that for more than 40 days it’s showing “Sent to Sp Office Mumbai District” in Passport Application Status without and Update tried calling all the numbers online and still not able to contact them. Now it has become urge’s as one of the passport is of my sister who has to go to a foreign country after her wedding next months and we have to book tickets according please help us as quickly as possible.

I urgently request you to kindly renew these passports on urgent basis as I have to travel immediately. Bandra police t, Mumbai has verified the documents and address. My documents were submitted on 20/5/22. Status is showing sp office Mumbai.

The local police officer says they have submitted the verification to the SP office 15 days ago . Then yesterday I got a text msg from psk that my police report is yet not finalized by sp police.

It's been over 2 months and the application is under review at SP office.
Don't know where to follow up for this. Please help

Its been more than 1.5 month still I have not received my passport. I vsited 3 times to Kanjur Marg police station even they have no idea regarding the delay. The track status is same from last 1.5 month i.e. the application is submitted to SP police office and is under review. Its the worst service provided by them.

Hello.

I had submitted my passport application on 13th October 2021 and on 17th my police verification was done. And usually it takes 3-4 days for police to submit the documents but for me it took almost 15 days. And on November 3rd the police guy send the documents to SP office for review. I went 3 times at the police station to check the station and they alway use to say that it's stuck in the system it will go ahead automatically and later i went again on November 3rd and shouted at the police so it front of me he processed my application. The Trombay police station people where just playing around with me.

And today it's 14th November and still my application is in the SP office for review. Its so pathetic. The process which was said to improve has again came back to the same old stage. And there is no contact details of the SP office. What can we citizens do about this. I'm in an emergency situation where I need to travel aboard for some medical condition. And still my passport isn't arrived.
Kindly someone help me about this situation. Its a humble request.

I am trying to take appointment online from last one month's but it always shows book. And customer care number they are not answering on call.. it almost 4 months but there is no any proper response. Kindly help

I had submitted my application for the passport on 8th january 2021 and its been more than a month now as my passport verification is stil pending by the SP office. Inspite of submitting all the documents on time why is it taking so much time?

Nishani halder d/o srabani halder, i had applied in the bkc for closing the file no. B[protected], but this file haven't closed yet. The superentendent of bkc had said that she will close the file and the police verfication will be done within 7 working days. But, it has been more than 2 weeks. And the thane passport office are giving dates and dates for attending at the office. I just need a confirmation when the police verification will be done. Why the promising words are lacking behind.

Kindly, fix my problem. I need to get my mothers passport as soon as possible.

Please see below trail of email and please help me. As after the date of 21st August 2018 I won’t be able to travel. I live in Georgia and embassy is in Yerevan Armenia . So if I get the passport after August 21 then border won’t allow me to enter Armenia Yerevan with expired passport. An I don’t have anyone who I can send or have in Yerevan to send to collect my passport with POA. I was been informed they don’t have courier service even if I send and pay for it.

Police verification initiated on 3rd august 2018, police visited to my house after 20 days, multiple documents have been asked and accepted finally on 27th august. Again they took 1 week to send the documents to sp office, status changed to sent to sp office on passport website on 3rd september. Post that status is still same as of today and 1 week passed again.

So, 1 month 10 days passed and police verification did not get completed. I would have visited police station 7 to 8 times, now it is with sp office and not sure how long it would take.

I need to apply for uk visa as soon as possible as i have my tickets booked for 12th of october.

Can you please help me with this, it is just pending sp office and should not take this much of time?

Any help would be highly appreciated as this is really urgent.

Where is my kid passport almost.

Last 2 weeks status still remains same pending at SP office.my kid is just 4 month old with having all docunets.

Adhar card/ bank account/ birth certificate / both parents have passport / marriage certificate everythjg what required to apply passport.

We don't know to whom we need to contact as we got message that contact police. Meghwadi police station saying we already submitted.
