I have applied for change in spouse name in my passport at thane passport seva kendra on 23.05.2018.
The new passport was delivered at my place on friday i. E 8th june 2018 but was returned back with a message left from post office to collect the same within 5 days.
I returned back to thane on monday i. E 11th june and on 12th june i have send my authorised representative to post office but they informed that it is not with them and they have no idea.
Now i am completely clueless... I have tried calling office of regional passport office but no one picks the call...
Please dispatch my passport again on the given address.

20/4/18 filled the application for myself my husband and my son, 23/4/18 went to submit the application at passport seva kendra given permanent address in the application as we were supposed to shift to permanent address. 01/05/18 went to submit sons application again. Due to some circumstance could not shift to permanent address. Requesting for reverification at present address. But not allowed by passport officer. Passport officer are not considering the request. They say have to 15000/- fine for 3 application on the grounds that we furnished wrong information. We didnot furnish wrong information we furnished our permanent address. And that is not wrong. Request shuld be accepeted for re verification at our present address.
As 15000/ is huge amount to pay as penalty. Pls slove the problem.

The online process for passport submission is very quick and easy. The passport gets stuck to the police verification. I visited dadar police station 2 times. Submitted all my documents. Verified with original documents. Clicked pic also. The police came to my residence - of course i was not there as i am working full day. My neighbors signed also. This is more than a month now and i have still not received any information. I have paid extra for sms.

Kindly help to speed up in issuing process of my two passports of my family members. Its been two mnths now after clearing police verification.

My son aliasger passport police verification was cleared on 25thjan 2018 but still in process, still waiting no progress its been more than one mnth.
My wife arwa passport police verification was cleared before two weeks but also in process n pending pleas its a humble request to solve my problem as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

However your office had not still forwarded the file back to passport office due to which the issue of my passport is getting delayed. Please look in to this issue & give the required clearance asap.

I have applied for reissue of four passport of my family, police verification cleared on 25jan 2018, but still not recvd infact status shows tht "police report not yet finalized by sp office.. I had given all relevant details to mahim police station for police verification of my passport on 17th november 2017. I received message from passport seva kendra that my police verification is not yet complete. I checked with mahim police station again and they said they have forwarded it further. Do not know where it is stuck.
What further action i should take?? Whom in police higher than mahim police station i should contact?

2. Then also don't know what are the procedure u r doing so that,, i didn't get an confirmation msg of passport

3. Since 5-6 days i sent an mail
And called by phone at ur bandra office 5-6 times
And telling them i urgently need an passport

I had applied for reissue of passport. I got my passport and got verified with kolsewadi police station.

Few days later, i got a message from passport office stating that 'police report not yet finalised at commisioner of police office, thane. Contact police for details.'

I immediately visited kolsewadi police station, they said' the file is pending with thane police station and that they have already forwarded it.'

I contacted on passport seva kendra's helpline. One of their representative said that 'they themselves don't know the status and asked me to wait untill any intimation is sent.' to ensure the information provided is correct, i talked to another representative who in turn told me to contact the regional passport office in mumbai. They can provide me the status of my file.

On contacting the regional passport office, the lady there told me that the file hasn't reached there and it is pending with thane police station. So i will have to contact thane police.

Now, i found out the number of thane police station passport cell and called, but they are not answering the call.

Please guide on what is to be done as soon as possible. People at the same office say 2 different things. I am confused whom to approach. I have already wasted a month. I have to send my passport for visa stamping, my travelling is scheduled for next month end.

I had submitted an application for passport address change. My application had been initiated on pre-verification basis for my passport application on 7th september. I heard no news from the police (Kamothe area) and had to visit the police station. I visited them on 22nd september and asked them the reason for their delay. They said, 'madam, aap ka ghar dhundne aaya tha mein teen baar. Building mila hi nahi'. How can a police officer from a small local area know nothing about the area he is working in, let alone he couldn't find a building even after searching for it thrice!!! The police officer told me i would get my passport in 10-12 days. No word till now!

I received an sms on 4th october stating, 'police report not yet finalised by commissioner of police, district navi mumbai. Contact police for details'. I visited them again and on 4th october i was again told i will get it in 10 days. It's been more than a month and with the lax attitude of the police officers combined with no proper communication has left me wondering if they have even processed my verification details and files properly. (I don't trust them after hearing 'we couldn't find the building')

I had initiated my re-issuance of passport application 2 years prior my expiry date because i have to apply for my visa urgently and my plans are on hold due to the slow and the lazy process. I had read the process has become faster and now getting a passport won't be a hassle, so i would request them to stay true to their words and expedite the process so that people don't have to go through stress for just getting another passport with an address change.

I have received the notification from your office that police has not yet submitted verification from there end. I was shocked to se this message.
The verification has been done long back by personally visiting with all required documents to police station. (Mulund east - navghar).
When went to enquries what happened why there is a delay the police was arrogant and told me that due to festival season we could not complete all forms and we were at other duties.

I don't understand how to complaint and whom should i complaint. I was needed passport to visit officially to complete one project. All visa process have been delayed due to this.
I need your quick help and i am also planning to troll shushma swaraj regarding this.

When my documents for reissue of my passport were being verified at counter b4 yesterday, the staff employee at counter b1 interrupted many times. She made fun when i was informing the person at counter b4 that i am an income tax assessee since assessment year[protected] after my mother dhara's death and i had inherited part of her estate. I have submitted copy of my pan card and aadhar card for proofs. The lady at counter b1 again laughed and made fun when i said i lived as an agent of bombay high court receiver for many years at the address i am residing at present. I had applied for reissue of my passport which had expired. Even after verification of all documents with original documents, my passport application has been kept on hold after being insulted by the staff at passport sewa kendra in lower parel in mumbai.

Myself Rohish Ashok Deorukhkar had applied for the the renewal of passport due to expiry.
I had applied online with ARN no-17-[protected]and file no -BOMA03320306.
The application was submitted on[protected].
From my father bank account payment was debited twice i.e 1500+1500=3000.
So I request you to please refund my payment as I have not received any appointment from passport office mumbai.

Could someone tell me why OCI card issuing process lasts not 3 months, as mentioned on government website and slips given at FRO office, but more than 4 and half months? Also, I would like to know why FRO Mumbai is never reachable by phone. And also, why officers don't tell any clear answer regarding how much time the processing of application will take more. Thank you for your attention....

I had applied for the passport 0n 03/06/2014 & done verification at PSK Andheri on 23/06/2014. Since then i have done police verification three times, but I have not received my passport yet because police verification report is not submitted by regional police station even after police verification.
