Hello Sir,
I have applied for a passport.but not yet received it. Current status is "Application has been transferred to policy section, Please See the PRO ", what is this PRO and why my application is transferred there?My Application Number is A085594 in PATNA . applied in 2009 .What happen to my passport .what is the next step i should take so that i could get my passport .Please help me.

SIR,MY NAME IS AMIT SHIVAM PERMANENT RESIDENT OF BETTIAH WEST CHAMPARAN,BIHAR.
I HAD APPLIED FOR MY PASSPORT ON 14.04.2009 FILE NO-A 043129,KEY NO-[protected].EVERY TYPE OF VERIFICATIONS WERE COMPLETE.IT SHOWED ON THE SITE THAT MY PASSPORT WILL BE DESPATCHED IN A WEEK.BUT SINCE AUGUST WHEN MY POLICE VERIFICATIONS WERE COMPLETE TILL NOW IT IS SHOWING THAT DUE TO SOME UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES IT IS NOT BEING SENT.WHEN WE CALL IN THE PATNA PASSPORT OFFICE NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE.I AM HELPLESS , PLEASE HELP.HOW CAN I KNOW THAT WHY THE PASSPORT IS NOT BEING DESPATCHED?I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THE AUTHORISED PERSON TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER & HELP US OUT.

I had applied for passport on 12th aug 09. My file no is A 091462. But till now my passport has not been issued. So please issue it soon.

I have submitted my application for new passport at Patna passport office on dated[protected].My application no A045878.I have not yet received my passport.Last four month it is showing on line " your passport will be delivered in a week time"

Sir/ Madam,
I have applied for Indian passport vide application no.258689 dated 12/06/2009 through BHAGALPUR Post Office. I had submitted my fees of Rs. 1000/- vide DD No. 462267 dated 12/06/2009 issued by ICICI bank. I had enclosed all required enclosures.My application was forwarded by Bhagalpur Post Office on 12/06/2009 to Patna. I had requested vide e-mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.for providing the reference File no. as well as current status of my application vide e-mail on 03rd Oct. 2009. The mail was read but not responded. Telophones at mentioned address is not being attended by anybody. Reminder of e-mail went unreplied again.

I am working in PSU and apart from my permanent address at Bihar , I am presently employed and residing at Jamshedpur. I were not sure about sending my application to Patna or Ranchi ?

As more than 5 months passed and I preferred Post Office to Pvt. Agents and Now I have no other option but to make query over e-mail or Telephone, kindly arrange for an intimation of current status, reference no. and earliest issue of Passport.

I have also lodged one complaint at Govt of India Consumer Grievances redressal site

with Registration No. MEAPD/E/2009/01480 which was forwarded to Patna, RPO on 27/10/2009 but nothing happened. I have also lodged one reminder at this site on 20.11.2009.

STATUS :

It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time .

this is status of passport after more than a year of submitting. afer giving urgency letter on 22nd oct still there is no action taken by department. my documents are ok and up to date ref. enquiry counter patna no. 01

My Passporveryfication is completed, and status of passpor is shown from approxmwtly Six month, " It is regreted to inform you that some un avoidable cause your passport is send you in week time" But till date inither got Passport Nor any Information,

Please inform me :-
2. when complete week time?
1. what is unavoiudable cause?
2. is Passport office Patna Does not issue Passport any one in such period?
3. If any formelities is due on my end why not inform me or status massege ?

Dear Sir/Madam
I am Devesh Mishra(File Refrence No:-PAT W[protected]. I have applied
for passport on 18-07-08 at Patna Office through speed post .
Everything like police verification is done on time but from the last
3 months when i check the status on passport office official website
i.e http://passportstatus.nic.in/passmain.php?city=pat, i get the
message as " It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the
despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a
week's time". I don't understand when will this one week time come for
me.Please do something in this regard as i need passport urgently.

I will be thank full to you always for resolving my issue. Waiting for
the immediate response from the recipient.

regarding passport my name is barun kumar jha from village ranti post ranti district madhubani (bihar) isubmitted my application form through madhubani collector passport office in september 2007. my police verification report is despatch to patna passport office 29/08/2008, but where is my passport and what is status ? i dont know, if rejected then please inform me for new apply, otherwise any option then suggest to me what can i do .thanking you

i applied for the passport dated on[protected]. my file referance number is PAT- A[protected] and my police verification was also done in month of august -08 but i did not get my passport while in status it is showing that " It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time " for last two months.
you kindly suggest me for further course of action.

I had applied for passport for myself & for my spouse. the file nos. are A136194 & A136196 on 17.11.2008. In the starting of March I was looking for status on net and it was showing the passports will be despatched by 24th of March 2009. Today I am again looking for status and it is showing that passports will be despatched by 8th April 2009. Passport office is deliberately delaying the delivery. police verifications are completed 2 months back but they are not issuing passports, reasons best known to them.

you are requested to please look into the matter & arrange for the delivery of passports.

I would like to inform you that i have applied for passport on 31/1/08 vide File.No.-A-013770/08.After few months my status on webpage was shown that my police report is incomplete and my file has been been transferred to policy section and i was adviced to meet PRO.So i went to Patna to meet passport officer who
said me that my police inquiry was re-send for verification to SP-office, because in the first police report my address was not verified and i was assured by him that within a week of receiving my second police verification report he will dispatch my passport.My re-verified police report was dispatched from SP-office Motihari on 27/09/08 vide VR-580-FS /08, but till date i could not get my passport.On status inquiry passport office webpage is displaying that either this file number is incorrect or information is not available .I therefore request to look into this matter and get my passportquickly issued.
