Hello Sir,
I have applied for a passport.but not yet received it. Current status is "Application has been transferred to policy section, Please See the PRO ", what is this PRO and why my application is transferred there?My Application Number is A085594 in PATNA . applied in 2009 .What happen to my passport .what is the next step i should take so that i could get my passport .Please help me.

I had applied for passport for myself & for my spouse. the file nos. are A136194 & A136196 on 17.11.2008. In the starting of March I was looking for status on net and it was showing the passports will be despatched by 24th of March 2009. Today I am again looking for status and it is showing that passports will be despatched by 8th April 2009.
