Dear Sir/Mam,

I am a citizen of india.I have applied for a Passport on 7th April 2011 and my police verification is done on 1st July 2011 still my report is not got submitted to the Passport Office.

As per the specification you have to get the passport within 3 months but after 4 and half months even my police verification report is not got submitted,so I have complained about the same to the Passport Office but I have never got any repsonse after 2-3 weeks.

This is my complaint against Police and Pune Passport Office also, I'm really disappointed and fed up to see our administration and system.

I have recived latter from passport office pune. So I go to passport office pune for enquiry about same so I meet MR.MULIK AND MR. DESAI for enquiry and he gave me bad words and abuse missbihaviour. If I asked some thing to him which I dont no then he was not helpping and he not doing his job properly. He is Vrey rude and arrogant towords me and every one. he is aslo currupted human. he take money for work.I request you to please take some strict action against him.

Date 22nd July 2011, I Just want to share what i face and saw today at Pune Passport Office, I applied for Tatkal Passport and after 22 days i have not received my Passport, When i was go for inquiry after 3 hours in a Que i was met Mr. J K Desai (DPO) when i told him my problem his behavior with me and others are very ridiculous and arrogant,
I left the office with poor feeling, My friend suggest me take Agents help to get passport in time and given me Mr. Tamboli's Passport Agent No., Agent asked me his fees is 1800 to get passport in time, Due to my urgency i was ready for that,
Today he called me at Passport office at 3 pm when i seat in the office i saw my agent he is doing his work like he is a owner of Passport Office means everybody Security to Smt S B Sawant (APO) people are talking and behaving with Agent like he is God for them at that office, After some time he came to me and told me 'Sahab se setting kara raha hoon kaam ho jayega aur jyada paise ki jarurat padi to bataunga' then he came again and told me your work is done take your Passport no. time 5.50.pm, He asked me wait for sometime, At 6pm most of the staff members are going for home and My Agent is distributing money to all supporting staff, per passport Rs100 for Superintendent level, and after that he is going in the Desai (APO) and Smt Sawant (APO) to distribute the money for the day. If One officer taken 500 for per Tatkal Passport so how much amount they will earn in a month from various Agents.
This is a shocking experience for me in India;s External Ministry Dept.
I know after this complaint or blog i don't have any hope this will recover in future, but today i feel this not my INDIA where me or my children will be proud to be a Indian, I deeply hearten this is not my India which was educated me in my School Days when we feel proud to see our flag on the event of 15th August & 26th January, common man and country is just a word for this kind of Rascals.
Just sharing a incident which i face and most of people will face in future, Thanks to Bapu and Bose for giving this kind of Democracy to us....

I have applied for fresh passport at D.S.P. office, Kolhapur for my sister on date[protected] and the file number is Z-481666/11. My Kolhapur D.S.P. outward number is 2715 dated[protected]. The application date over pune is[protected]

The status shows "Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order."

Today is[protected] and still it shows the same.My sister is got married and they are awaiting for passport to go abroad as NEWLY WED COUPLE. I had send several mails to department but all in vain...CAN ANYBODY HELP ME TO FIND THE STATUS

I have applied for passport on 24-Nov-2010. I have been waiting for more than 5 months. Till police verification is not happened.I have checked my application status (App NO - PNEI[protected] on internet but it is showing "File reference number is either wrong or Information not available"

Please help me. How should I get my application status

I have given my passport for addition of spouse name by submitting form 2.
Application file number : PNE U000678 11
I have submitted copy of marriage certificate, my spouse passport copy, address proof.

They even asked me to pay a penalty of Rs 500 for supression of spouse name (i.e.Even though I was married I did not get spouse name added when I got my passport renewed)

After all this, when I received my passport, they added my Mother's name in the passport which was already there. Spouse name is no where added.

This is complete carelessness from such high government office. They just know how to harress common people.

Now I want to get this corrected without paying a penny to them. Is it possible ?

I submitted my Passport Application form on[protected]. My File Ref. No. is PNE-P[protected]. After 30 days my inquiry is completed by Police Department (Sanghwai Police Station, Pune and Misrod Police station, Bhopal). On website everyday I am seeing my status but still it shows status as Your application is in process. If I contacted on Telephone Nos., I am not getting any response. So more than 6 months are already passed.
I have written passport office pune so many times not receive and mail response and telephone also. I lost two on-site opportunity from my employer and now my job is also is in question mark due to non-availability of passport
I really disappointed with the service and process, waiting to contact me as soon as pos and issue my passport at the earliest will b highly appreciated. I[censored] REALLY CARES FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
I hope that you can understand my problem and help me. Please do not neglect this mail like my all previous emails.

I am Anil Jagdale .I have applied for passport on[protected] on pune office where file Reference No: PNE-D[protected] but it not come on my local police station for police verification .Can you please let me how can go ahead with this problem .I have checked it on police headquarter Chavan nagar pune but they say that it has been dispatched to your local police station for verification on[protected] ,but local police not responding on that .please give me a proper suggestion to go ahead with this.

My wife had applied for the Passport in Tatkaal Quota. She was to travel with me after 2 months. I had enough time to get the passport issued in normal quota but still I asked her to apply the passport in Tatkaal Quota as it was quite natural to take some amount of time is processing it.

The biggest problem in applying the passport in Tatkaal quota is to get the Verification letter from some IAS officer or person having equivalent...

My File Ref No. is PNE-P[protected].

Pune police enquiry has been already done. But enquiry at Indore is pending from long time.

On internet it is showing "Application is in process".

Please check and let me know ASAP.

Dear Sir,

I have applied for passport re-issue as my old passport has expired, file number is B007472. I have contacted concerned police station (Hinjewadi police station) 3-4 times and also went there few times, but came to know that my form has not reached them. I then re-submitted PPFs again at Pune passport office sometime around mid July and executive there asked me to recheck at police station in 2-3 weeks time. I have again contacted Hinjewadi police station in August/September and they told me that the form has not reached there. They said probably the form is going to some other police station. I am not sure what I should be doing from my end now to get the passport ASAP.

Please check and advise.

Hello Sir,

Passport :- P020756 applied in pune from last 6 month in name of MR RAJ SHUKLA still on 4th OCT not receieved passport, Under passport office site status is IN Process u can also check it.
When i went to Paaport office pune they said they have status of police verification has not been receieved
and they are not responding properly.
I mailed 50 times no response from pune office.
I wrote many time saying if they require some document but they still not respoding.
visited physically 5 times.
Now i am bearing loss of 1 Lacs per month and my carrier and personal life is affected badly due to this issue.

Please help me and guide.....

My name is Sushant Sale. I am living in Sangli. I have applied for Passport on 01/10/2009. My file reference number is PNE-Z[protected]. One month after my verification in Sangli, I recieved a letter from passport office, asking me to furnish the information about my residing address. because my permanent adress is in Sangli and I am studying in Aurangabad from July 2006 to July 2009.

After recieving a letter, I came to Passport office, Pune and furnished all the information & documents which are asked in letter and submitted the application.Further in June 2010 I got a call from Aurangabad police station for verification. My police verification is also done in Aurangabad and they said that my passport will be issued to me within 15 to 20 days.

But till date I could not recieve anything regarding my passport and your online status information site showing the same message to furnish the information about residing adress.

Clearification of my residing adress is verified in Sangli and Aurangabad. So, please kindly look in to the matter and expedite the issual of my passport and obligue me.

I have allready send the above letter to passport office, Pune via e mail. But till date they do not repply me.

I have applied for the fresh Passport on 24 July 2009, but till date I have not got any details regarding my application.

When I checked the status on web the details showed that “Please see the descriptive Objection below “but the details not found. My police report is already cleared.



Then on 28 Aug’09 I personally visited the Pune Passport Office & enquire about the Objection against my application, they have asked me to submit the Company ID card with request letter. The same has been submitted on the same day to Passport office at counter no -09.



Again today I checked & enquired about the status about my application the response I got from them that they have not received any details for the same.



Request you to kindly look into the matter & assist.

I have been trying to get my wife's passport. For 3 days I get in the line from morning 9:30 and the person on Counter No. 1 does not have time and willingness to help.
The problems he says are -
Address Proof - We have Ration Card and Electricity/Telephone/Corporation Tax bills (all in the name of my father - the head of the family).
The officer says that the Bills should be in her name. How can the bills be in everybody's name in the family.

The Tatkal procedure on the site says either a Verification Certificate (Annexure F) from an Central Govt. officer is required OR any 3 documents from the listed 14 are to be submitted.
We have 4 documents from the list i.e. Ration Card, PAN Card, Driving License and Birth Certificate.
Still the Passport Officer want the Verification Letter.

Do they think that every Indian is a relative of a Class I Central Govt. officer ?

The only option left is to go through an agent to get the work done.

With respect to the above subject and file no, I would like to bring to your notice that, I had applied for a passport at RPO, Pune nearly THREE years ago. Till today I have not received my passport.

When police enquiry came, I was working at Pondicherry, Tamilnadu. Hence my file was send to Chennai. I remained there for ONE year. No enquiry came. Later I changed my job and got shifted to Bellary, Karnataka. My file was transferred from Chennai to Pune.

Then my file was transferred to Banglore Passport Office. It was received there on 27th Nov-07 and my file no became BNGC[protected]. Since then, I visited RPO, Banglore FIVE times. Each time they said police enquiry will come. I stayed at Bellary till end of June-08. Nothing happened till then.

Then I left my job and came back to my home town at karad only for my prolonging Passport issue. I wrote a letter to Banglore Office to transfer my file to Pune. My file came back to Pune with a new file no-D[protected].dt 7th July-08. After visiting Pune passport Office, my file came to Karad police Station on 18th Nov-08.
Karad Police Informed me on 2nd Dec 08. My police enquiry was completed after submitting all necessary documents, affidavits, my statements and statement of my neighbour. As per Karad Police, My file with Police enquiry report was despatched on 8-Dec-08.
After a week, when I called Pune passport Office, they said that I would get my passport within a week.
Then in the first week of Jan-09, I received a letter from Pune passport office that my file was transferred to TRIVANDRUM Passport Office, Kerala. WITHOUT ANY REASON, my file was sent to Trivandrum office because my Place of birth was mentioned as, Kadampanad, Kerala.
My file was received at Trivandrum office on 19-Jan-09.After visiting Trivandrum Office for SIX times, till 30th April 09, Officers at TVM office kept on maintaining that they haven’t received my file in spite of showing them the barcode no and receipt from Trivandrum Post Office.

On 7th May-09, my file was sent back to Pune. Now the file no was D[protected].dt14th May 09. When I visited Mr.Sayyed, Asst.Passport Officer, Pune, he said, Police enquiry has to be conducted again.
I’m afraid that again place of birth would be mentioned as Kadampanad, Kerala and again the file would be sent there. This cycle will continue and I will never get the passport.

It seems these people are not interested in giving my passport.Litterally, they are harassing me.I don’t know, where I can lodge a complaint……..

I have been asked to meet the PRO/Superintendent.I met him an she asked me to submit an additional set of PP form as some verification at my native place was required.I submitted the PP form some 5-6 months back.
When I check for my status at the site it still says to meet the PRO/Superintendent.I don't understand whats happening.Now I'm out of Pune for some 6 months.what shall I do.

I have applied for passport in Pune office on 21-Aug-2008 (File No - P032387). Subsequently I have cleared the police inquiry and report has been already received to passport department (on 14-Oct-08). As per the current status of the passport, the passport was supposed to be delivered on 05-Nov-2008. However suddenly I am surprised to see that it is delayed without any reason. My passport is very urgent as my husband is in Italy. I was supposed to travel with him. But due to the delays in passport delivery I couldn’t travel. My husband's company has already submitted the letter (Ref. HAIL-PASS-043) to the Superintendent on 17-Oct-08 mentioning the urgency for the passport. However, it seems that till now there is no action on it from the passport department.

Please look into this matter and arrange to deliver the passport in time so that I can join my husband in Italy as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,

This carries reference to the passport application of my wife (File No: P021565). This application was filed on June 03, 2008 at the passport Office. Yesterday I checked with the police station of my area (Chinchwad Gaon) and learnt that all the applications till June 04, 2008 had arrived there for verification. However my wife’s application was not there in the list. He said that there were chances that the application could have been misplaced.

In this regard, could you let me know the exact police station where the application has gone so that I could contact them for verification.
