I am Vikram Vachhani. File No. P 040028/07. I have applied for my passport back on 15th May 2007 at Nagpur. I completed all the police inquiries over there. After that I got a job in Pune so I shifted in Pune. The police personnel over there in nagpur sent an adverse report to their office saying they didn't found me there.

My file got transfered to Pune passport office. Here in Pune I had been called by the police personnel for inquiry. I visited the Deccan police station on the specific time mentioned by them. I met Yadav Madam over there. I submitted all the documents asked by them. Madam told me that my inquiry is over. No more documents needs to be submitted.

Now I have left Pune on 06/02/2008 for better prospects. I got a job in Nagpur. And I received a letter from Pune Passport Office to meet Police Station & Passport Office before the specified date. But I have newly joined the office so unable to come there.

Sir I request you to pls transfer my file no. P 040028/07 to Nagpur Passport Office. As I am employed over here. I’ll complete all the remaining formalities over here. Pls try to make it soon because its being 1 year since I have applied my passport

Dear Sir,

My daughter and son had applied for their passport renewal after 10 years. Since march 2008 they were visiting your pune office and after 4-5 times standing in the que their application was initially accepted and then again rejected and asked for on line booking for TATKAL delivery. pl note that i have kept these accepted papers and they are with me, which i can submit to you any time.
After applying like this again they made us to visit their office 4 times keeping standing for 4-5 hours and at last by the grace of the god they accepted the papers and money for TATKAL delivery.This time they told us that the passports shall be dispatched within 4 days asper the passport law.
When after 5days the passports were not recd. they found from the net that they should approach Police for getting the verification done. In fact your officers should have asked us to do these things before accepting the passport papers.
Now even the verification was done and the papers were send to your office on 28th of April we are getting the same message for approaching the Police.
My children were shocked when one of the agent out of 5 always available there for passport work approached them and was prepared to get the work done within 24 hours for the cost of only Rs. 3000/- per passport.
We have booked for a tour and if we do not get the passports in time either we shall be forced to pay the agent or cancel the tour which shall cost me a loss of Rs. 50000/-
I request your advice in this matter ASAP as the passports must be submitted before 10th of May for visa.

If according to you the renewal of my son's passport was not simple and the police verification was must then why your officer accepted the papers and money for tatkal passport WITHOUT ANY CONDITION? Even nobody from your end bothered to inform us about this. We came to know that police verification is required on your web site only, but even my wife's passport was delivered and the same remark was showing on web. After sending you emails for no. of times your people dispatched a letter on 13th of May 2008, according to the postal date stamped. In this case we had to waste lot of our time and your office people inclusive of yourself were not even ready to listen to us for more than 30 SECONDS after waiting in que for 2-3 hours. Do you think that only your time has value and all other people those who come to your office do not have any work at all? Due to such approach of your people towards common people they are forced to go to agents and pay them heavy amount.

Hi,
I had applied for Police Clearance Certificate for USA.
I received it today but the matter inside the certificate seems contradictory.

It states that “There is no adverse information against Sayali holder of passport No # issued at Pune on date # which would render him/her ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for USA”
Isn’t the word ineligible incorrect?

We have transferred passport case form Vizag to Pune, and the case has got transferred and now the struggle got started... we have submitted all documents to the passport officer and he said that will receive passport with in 7 days... actually we have applied on 29th Sep of 2009 for Tatkal, our case transferred on 24th Sep 2009, now today 12th Oct 2009, till now we have not received the passport... we met wid Sawant Madam, she was telling that police enquiry is pending from 24th sep 2009...

we paid money for tatkal 29th sep 2009, and now she was telling that they sent the case to police station on 24th sep 2009, ...how is it possible sir...

now again we went to police station, they were telling that they have not received any application on my name, ...this what happen...now what to do Sir...actually we have to go for Stamping last month only... but because of this we postponed to Oct 2nd week and also we have submitted the HR letter from company also...still the case is pending...

and even there is no online status showing on the net...when searching my case it's showing that status column is blank...

from past one month we went to passport office nearly 10 times... so kindly please let me know the solution... what shall we do

It is very sad situation at Pune passport office...All the officers over there are corrupted...They just decline fresh passports applications for any reasons..Though a person has all the require documents and form has been filled they ask for unnecessary things or try to find out mistakes so a person goes out and approaches agent for them to get commission...There is not a single person who has been cleared in first attempt..they make u go round and round till u get crazy and finally put your money to the agent...First these officials needs to be removed from the office and more organised procedure needs to be defined...

passport — Passport not received since 2009

I have applied passport on Jan 1st 2009.
Still I have not received my passport.

The address now is difference from the address when applied.

I met APO thrice and given the address proof with original on the current address.
My latest visit to APO was on 10th May 2010

Also, I sent Registered Post with Ack. Card with my ration card copy.

I received letter from Passport Office dt. 3-Jun-2010 stating to come in person to give the address proof with original. Already given the proof on 10th May 2010.

Please let me know why are they not taking into consideration of the letter handing over to APO.

Passport Office Pune And Lucknow — Non receipt of passport

Dear Sir,
I am a serving army officer who is presently posted at the College of Military Engineering, Dapodi, Pune. I had got my passports (Self and Wife) renewed after depositing my earlier passports well before their expiry at RPO Lucknow as I was posted at Allahabad earlier. Since the passport making process was on and I was to move to Pune shortly the Asst Passport Officer, Mr Martial Khujur at Lucknow personally assured me during my visit to his office that he would be despatching the fresh Passports after they are ready at Passport Office Pune under intimation to me and I can collect it from Pune. As committed by him I recieved a copy of the letter after arrival at Pune that my passports have been despatched to passport office Pune vide RPO Lucknow letter no B[protected]/OA/PO/LKO dt 10Feb11 addressed to Passport Office Pune in which the details of passport despatched were as follows
Passport no J-6200050 of LtCol Rajinder Singh Narula (Self)
Passport no J-6200049 of Mrs ParminderKaur Narula (My wife)
However when I got in touch with the authorities at Passport office Pune no of times continuously for two months till date I was told that the passports have not been received by them and I should get in touch with the authorities at Lucknow by sending some person as no body attends on telephone or entertains the letters. I accordingly got the matter rechecked at Lucknow but was intimated by them that the passports have been rightly despatched from there and it is lying with the authorities at Pune. The blame game started as a result between passport offices at Lucknow and Pune.
Although I have requested in writing from both the authorities at Lucknow and Pune but have neither got any reply telephonically or otherwise through letter. As a result of this my Passports are hung in between the two offices for which no one is claiming any responsibility. I however strongly feel that they would definitely be lying in some dump at either of the places for which the authorities at Lucknow and Pune have to be pursued by their higher levels for which your forum's intervention is highly required.
I have given my new address also to both the authorities for depatching the passports at my new place.
I hope you will help me out as I have been facing this problem since long and my family circumstances are such that I may need it any moment.

My wife applied passport in February and not received till now. Last month the status was will dispatch on 4th may but after that it changed as” It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time” .

We are planning to go to UK month end.. is there any possibility to get the passport before that.

I went to Senapati road Passport office to get certified copies of passport & I was shocked to see the irresponsible rude behaviour of one of the employee, Mrs Rane there.

I reached the office sharp at 9 am. There was a huge queue. I patiently awaited my turn till 4 pm. Mrs Rane was the person at the counter, so I told her that I am here for certified passport copies. To that she quickly replied "I don't do that" and called out the next person. I asked her if she knows who does it here, to which she rudely replied to me that she doesn't know & many people come there asking her the same question. I told her that I waited in the line for 6-7 hours, to which she got irritated & completely ignoring me, called out he next person.

After this incident I inquired with 2-3 people as to who is the authorized person in Pune for issuing certified copies & they told me that it is Mrs Rane herself.

I am a mother of 2 small kids, I somehow managed to take time off to get my work done, waited patiently in the queue for hours supposedly at the right counter, still I had to return back empty handed.

Looks like employees like Mrs Rane are fearless in being rude & non-cooperative as if they know nothing can be done against them. If it was her job to do it, she has no right to say no.

I sincerely request the higher authorities to kindly look into this matter as there might be many sufferers like me who underwent similar treatment by Mrs Rane at Pune passport office. Somebody should take action against her so that employees of govt organizations have some sense of responsibility towards their job.

Hi all,

I applied for tatkaal reissue of passport in pune on 8th June 2016. They initiated police verification and after mnany follow ups, I was not getting exact date to visit their police station, finally after few days I got chance to submit documents on 21 st june and on my request they submitted documents to commissioner office . after 3-4 days I got message on my mobile that police report is not clear and adverse report for your current address though I submitted all legal documents at police station like annexure 2 of registration of my house, electricity bill one year old and new one as well, property tax recent and old, adhar card, Pan card everything I submitted .
instead of issuing passport under tatkaal within a week .it has already passed 3 weeks and still I am not sure what to do next ?

though I have given old passport and was present physically at passport office and police station also why is this happening with me ?

Our processes are not clear or people does not want anything to happen quickly and they want other to beg in front of them?

I have lost two onsite opportunities because of this and suffered mantally as well. It would have been Jaipur office, I would have got it with in 4 days.
as they work efficiently.

Please help people and take things seriously at least for the people working in private jobs and giving so much time at govt. offices to get the things done.
