I have made two payments to a merchant Peeperly.com online on 1st Jan 2022. The first payment was made through PayU and was unsuccessful and hence I made a 2nd payment through CC Avenue which was successful. But when I checked my bank account, both the money were deducted from my account. I raised a ticket with the merchant and they contacted PayU for a chargeback request. PayU confirmed a chargeback request was raised on 17th Jan 2022. But I have not received anything yet. I contacted my bank and they clearly stated that since we are the beneficiary bank, we do not have anyway to track the money until it is credited on your account. It is the sole responsibility of the paying bank to check the chargeback status. I then got in touch with PayU but I am getting no response. The amount was Rs. 4497 made on 1st Jan. Transaction ID was [protected] . Please help. I have attached the transaction details from the merchant and my bank statement as proof below.

• Scan copy of bank statement indicating the debit for the required transaction.
• Transaction date along with the amount.
• Email id or phone number used for processing the transaction.
• First 6 and last 4 digits of your card.
• UPI / VPA if any used
