Hi Team, One of my friend's has made a payment of 8442 rupees through PayU gateway using ICICI Credit card on 6th of September 2018 to buy tickets from 'http://greenoceanseaways.com/tickets/portal' . However the transaction was unsuccessful but the amount was deducted from his account. Now the following has been done. 1. We have got in touch with the Merchant 'Green ocean' asking us to refund the money, for which they say that the amount has been charged back to us. (REFERENCE: Merchant copy which PAYU gave to merchant) 2. Now the only choice we have been left with is having endless calls and escalations with ICICI credit card customer service section asking them for a refund. (It has been almost 2 and half months from the date of transaction.) They comeback with a different receipt stating that the transaction done was indeed successful. (REFERENCE: Copy which PAYU gave to ICICI Bank) ONE STRANGE THING: Both the pictures are screenshots of attachments sent by PayU company, one stating that the amount has been charged back and one saying the transaction is successful. Refer to red color highlighted text. PayU, I ask you, are you trying to dupe both the merchant and the consumers too? Beware that a complaint has been raised in RBI (Reserve bank Of India) too about this. CUSTOMERS using this gateway 'payumoney.com', do not use this for online transactions. I shall go further and file a complaint against the same. Care to answer why different receipts / proofs are submitted? WHY? Was this information helpful? | |||||
