My profile was suddenly deactivated and they asked to submit an ID proof for verification. After I submitted my PAN card, they asked to provide an alternative ID. I also submitted my Driver's License. However, the profile has still not been activated.
I called up Customer Support and the representative continued to repeat that they now need my Passport and Aadhar Card. Who are they to ask for my sensitive documents, especially when they couldn't even validate the ones I submitted.
I told them I can share additional document over a video call, but unable to send them a copy of these documents since due to their sensitive nature. However, the support representative continued to repeat the same templated response a couple dozen times.
This seems to be a common complaint with shaadi.com where profiles are deactivated with request for ID proofs, and when documents are submitted, they continue to ask for additional documents. This happens more often after a payment is made to them for membership.
Their customer support is really poor and unprofessional. I want my profile back, but they are unable to validate perfectly valid IDs, and it is still deactivated for no fault of mine.
