Pepperfry — Pepperfry return/refund

Dear Pepperfry Customer Support,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent order (Order No.[protected] for a 3+2+1 seater sofa in Beige color, placed through your platform. Unfortunately, upon delivery, I was shocked and disappointed to receive the product in Grey color, which is completely different from what was advertised and selected at the time of purchase.

This discrepancy is not a minor shade variation—it is an entirely different color and does not match the product listing on your website. According to your return policy under “What’s eligible for return”, a product is eligible for return if it is delivered in a different color than the one shown in the item image. My case clearly qualifies under this clause.

I immediately attempted to raise a return request, but there has been no adequate resolution or response from your team. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of responsibility and action from your side, especially considering the amount I have invested in this purchase.

I would like to remind you that under Indian consumer protection laws, delivering a product that is materially different from what was advertised constitutes false advertising and unfair trade practices. I am prepared to escalate this issue to the Consumer Court and file a formal complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) if this matter is not resolved promptly.

I request the following actions to be taken immediately:

Initiate a return and pick-up for the incorrect product.

Process a full refund to my original mode of payment.

Provide a written confirmation of the same.

If no satisfactory resolution is offered within 7 working days, I will proceed with legal and consumer forum action, and I will also publicize this issue on social media platforms and consumer complaint forums to bring awareness to Pepperfry’s service quality.

Please consider this communication as my final attempt to resolve this issue amicably.
