I am writing this to bring to your kind attention the series of events that reflect the lackadaisical approach, negligent & careless behavior, and deficiency in service on part of Tropicana.
I purchased a carton of tetra packs of Tropicana Mixed Fruit Juice in Chandigarh. Today, while I started consuming juice from one of the tetra packs (manufacturing date 12.03.2021), I could feel difficulty in drinking the juice out of the said tetra pack while using a straw. Moreover, I could feel a different taste, as I have been drinking Tropicana juices for some time now. Facing the aforementioned difficulty and being suspicious about the same, I decided to cut open the pack. I was extremely shocked and surprised to see fungus all over the juice and a sort of dead pest in the juice which was coming out as a lace. I am attaching photos of the same for your perusal and consideration.
Please appreciate that these are already difficult and horrific times due to the Covid- 19 pandemic where hygiene and quality of food/ drinks is o[censored]tmost importance. But It appears that Tropicana has no such concerns. You are serving drinks which are full of fungus and insects, and I am sure I would not have been the only one. We rely on your brand image and consume over expensive products just for the sake of surety but the quality of the food/ drinks served will be top-notch. However, to my utter shock and dismay, the same was not the case this time. This negligent, careless, derelict and sloppy behavior on your part could cause serious illness and diseases as some of the Juice from the said tetra pack was already consumed by me and my mother without knowing the content in this specific tetra pack. Moreover, we have consumed more than 10 tetra packs from the said carton till date and are now extremely skeptical about the contents of the already consumed juice. Moreover, it makes me think, what if the said tetra pack was not opened by me. I would have consumed the whole pack (and other tetra packs in the carton) without knowing the contents of it. This is an extremely lackadaisical, careless and apathetic approach on your part, to say the least.
At the moment, the least I could expect from you is an unconditional apology and a compensation from Tropicana in this regard. In event of your failure to reply to this email, I reserve my right to initiate proper legal proceeding against Tropicana for appropriate damages.
