Visited the Peter England showroom in Bangalore regarding problem in the T-shirts and shirts purchased there on 27-June-2025. There was discolouration of one of the items during the first washing and the colour that ran off that product caused stains on the other two items. The Showroom did not agree with my complaint and countered the same. Then the Showroom said if I wanted, the items could be sent to the Company's Laboratory for testing thru' the Company's Head Office for which I agreed and handed over the items. Surprisingly, Peter England Showroom declined to give an acknowledgement for the items I have handed over for the said Laboratory Testing. I am sure I am entitled to an acknowledgement for the items I handed over to the Showroom. When the items are ready to be collected back, I can collect the items THROUGH SOMEONE else too by presenting the acknowledgement. With the denial of an acknowledgement by Peter England Showroom, I (a 78-year-old senior citizen) am forced to visit the Showroom again personally to collect my items when they are made available, with the defect resolved or not. What is the proof that I have handed over some garments to Peter England Showroom, how many numbers and for what purpose? The stand taken by the Showroom in declining an acknowledgement for receiving the items from me is regrettable and highly disappointing. It does not befit the stature of Peter England. My request was for an acknowledgement for receipt and not immediate acceptance of my complaint before the said laboratory testing. Was this information helpful? |
