I tried placing an online order amounting to Rs 417/- with Pizza Hut on Sep 24 evening. I used the prepaid system and paid the money through my debit card. The money got deducted from my account, however, the order was not placed due to failed transaction.
On this, I called up at the pizza hut customer service and they assured me that the money would be refunded within 5-6 business days and that the concerned person would give me a call back soon. So, trusting that the pizza hut is a big brand and they will not cheat I placed an order again with them on call and opted for cash on delivery.
I waited the next day and when I didn't receive any call, I posted a complaint on the pizza hut website. The screenshot of the same is attached with this. However, I didn't hear back anything from them.
I followed up with the customer service people many times on refund status and even spoke to one of the managers there. The manager was very rude, arrogant and unhelpful. I told him that I would complain about them to consumer forum and to which he replied, "Do whatever you can."
I again followed up with the customer service people many a times but to no use.
Its been 3 months now and I do not understand when would "5-6 business days" wait be over.
I request the consumer forum to please look into this and take strict action against such frauds and money launderers.
I would want an appropriate compensation for the same.
