I placed an order (Order #[protected] on the Pizza Hut website on 15th June 2025. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the order due to heavy rains. I called the Pizza Hut customer care on [protected] to cancel it. The representative told me my order was cancelled and a refund will be issued after someone from the store reaches out to me. However, I never received any call from the store. I called multiple times but and they keep saying someone will call back from the store but no one really calls.
After calling customer care several times, I was connected to the store 12 days later. The store person kept insisting that refund had been issued, but I have not received any refund. I asked for an acknowledgement of refund, so that I can take the issue up with my card provider, but they did not provide any.
I waited another 7 business days and no refund has arrived. I have called several times since and the customer care representatives kept me on hold for several minutes, but could not connect me to the store. I did finally manage to receive a call from the store but they are not being helpful. They keep insisting that the refund has been provided. But I told them the card provider did not issue any refund. So they asked for my order details. I have sent it to them but haven't received a response. How can they insist that refund was provided if they don't even know the order number related to my complaint?
The repeated back-and-forth between customer care and the unresponsive store is frustrating. Pizza Hut should take responsibility for ensuring refunds are processed promptly, rather than relying on individual stores. The store seems unsure of the details of my order, despite claiming a refund has been issued.
Pizza Hut India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
