Dear team,
I had ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides online from pizza hut. The address entered by me was as correct and exact as it could get and my nearest store was chosen automatically by the site. I made an online payment for my order.
The order was punched in at 08:12 pm (According to bill details) and the scheduled delivery team was 08:43 pm.
My delivery was made at 10:15 pm and this was after repeated calls that were made to the pizza hut helpline. To add to the woes initially the helpline number was not functioning for over an hour and the calls to the designated store were not being answered.
After repeated trials the helpline associate from pizza hut answered my call and told me that the pizza would be delivered by 9:30 which obviously didn't happen. After 90 mins of no delivery when i asked for an order cancellation i was told that the order was out for delivery and could not be cancelled.
After 2 hours when the food was finally delivered it was as cold as ice.
I would request the company for atleast taking onus for the poor delivery if not a refund.
The basic requirement for a customer service company is that it atleast stays in touch with the customer and keeps the customer informed if there are any delays.
This was my first experience with pizza hut and it turned out to be the worst one i have ever had.
