Planet Spark — Not refunding the money and deducting emi

My daughter started her regular classes with Planet Spark on 11th March. Initially she showed interest but later on denied to participate in any activities suggested by the tutor. Hence we thought that it’s a waste of time and money to continue only 2 classes a week for Rs.4309/- per month.

A ticket for discontinuation and refund was generated on 12th May; ticket number 100467. Last class she attended was on 30th May 2022. Since then we are waiting for loan stop information from Planet Spark and Early Salary (from where we took the loan for Planet Spark curriculum). Both these organisations are passing the matter in each other’s court, and nobody seem to be responsible to give us a definite answer after 3 months of discontinuation request.

Ms. Swati Khandelwal from the Refunds team contacted me a couple times to retain the student, but on insisting said that the loan closure will take time. She once again called in the last week of June and told me that there’s a delay from the Finance team, but assured that the closure and refund will happen by July end. Every time she keeps on saying that you will get the closure amount within 30-35 days which seems to be never ending.

Now it's 2nd August and no info from Planet Spark what so ever regarding the said matter. On calling Early Salary (loan partner) I got the information that the loan is still active. If this is the case then unnecessary they can deduct EMI every month from our account. Ms. Swati is not available over the phone for discussion ever.

Loan amount - 90500 for 165 classes
Advance registration amount paid: Rs.9500/-
EMI - 4309 every month
Paid till now : 17236/- for April, May, June, and July

Total amount paid: 26, 736/-
On pro-rata basis the amount for 30 classes is 16440/-.

At present we are primarily waiting for loan closure information from their end. As per my discussion with Early Salary they haven't received any information from Planet Spark about the same yet.
