We enrolled for PlanetSpark public speaking classes for our kid. Paid an Enrollment Fee of Rs 9000 through credit card and signed up to pay Rs 87600 as Rs 4171 per month EMI through a loan provider they arranged by name of EarlySalary.
All this was done with PlanetSpark promises that we can cancel the services at any point of time and the payment will be cancelled within 2 days, taking amount only for attended classes.
On the same day we actually found too many negative reviews on PlanetSpark, people suffering from not being able to cancel the classes, no response from Planets park on refunds. We decided to cancel their services.
WITHOUT TAKING A SINGLE CLASS from them, the next day itself we called the same contact points and cancelled the classes. We also emailed confirming that we are not taking any classes and asking for refund of Enrollment Fee and cancellation of EMI setup. Every contact who talked to us confirmed it will be taken care as no classes were taken by us.
We wrote to EarlySalary team also informing this cancellation. But they said only the PlanetSpark team needs to inform them and not us.
But 20 emails back and forth to the PlanetSpark support and the PlanetSpark person assigned for us and 1 month later, it still stays the same, informing us that "it will be taken care", "we have informed the refunds team" etc..
Now post one month after non payment of first EMI, EarlySalary team also separately follows up with us THREATENING to pay the EMI or else our cibil will be affected.
We feel helpless and cheated by PlanetSpark due to this online fraud. So far they have not taken any step towards resolution of this. EarlySalary team continues to call is 3 times a day threatening us to pay.
