good evening.

This is kunal vishwakarma here,Two days back have taken policy through policybazar for apollo.

Yesterday got call from apollo team directly for policy proposal, when I shared with them that have taken policy of apollo from policybazar.com. The response from apollo team was quite surprising,
They said the quality of service will really differ if i take policy from policybazar.com

am really confused. your team has really helped me alot, but still am not convinced with go along with policybazar.com now after listening the fact about QUALITY OF SERVICE difference.


I seek for your intervention and provide me the clarity,Because as per yerterday communication it was very well proveen that there is lack of transperancy, co-ordination, communication failure between Policybazar.com and apollo team.

    Misselling of Health Policy

    Address: Bardhaman, West Bengal

    I was approached by Policy Bazaar for purchasing Health (Mediclaim) Policy after i visited their site.
    I was informed by one Mr. Rohit Chawla of Policy Bazaar that since I needed to renew my existing Policy with Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd., I may change over to Apollo Munich Health Insurance as they were providing Portability benefit and also since their premium was much less.

    Dear sir,

    Policy Bazaar: Acknowledgement For Payment Recieved : Life Booking Reference: PBO_9766

    I made a payment of Rs.12500/- to Policy bazaar for Aviva New Pension Plan. The mail received on 24th July 2010 from [protected]@policybazaar.com, contain one clause

    "Please be informed that we should receive the self attested proposal form along with the other self attested documents within 7 working days of the payment being made, failure after which the booking will automatically stand cancelled and the amount would be refunded to you in the form of a Demand Draft after deduction of 2.5%."

    As on date proposal form along with other attested documents is not given to Policy bazaar, however as per clause money not returned by Policy bazaar.

    Numerous mail were sent to [protected]@policybazaar.com, however no one had reverted.

    I got call from policy bazaar within 5 min of filling up details. No call received against mail sent for returning of money. Its really pathetic service.

    I want my money back, after deduction of 2.5%.

      I submitted the full payment on 1st May 2010 Transaction Id: IG20894918, still I didnt received any confirmation of payment from Policy Bazaar. I also didnt received a soft copy of my policy.
      I am also not able connect to their customer care executive as it is showing the number you have called is busy right now.

      I just received a mail that shows my reference number for the further communication with Policy Bazaar. However, I have not yet received any reply from Customer care even after mailing them.

      Hope that this matter will be resolved soon. As I have my scheduled journey soon.

        Recently I purchased a car insurance from Policy Bazaar, before placing an order I asked for all the facilities I am going to get if I am buying from them .

        Till date haven't received original policy document and nor resolution of issues raised by me after placing an order.

        Pathetic customer support and lousy behavior. Would suggest ban on such sites an recomed every one not to use this site for any purchases.

        Apollo dkv — worst service & procedure

        I had been mentally harrashed by this group when i thought of claiming for my accident...never ever buy there any product.

        1. I am sorry for your experience. I am the CEO of policybazaar, and saw your complaint here, and of course decided to investigate. I found the following.

        Please find below the history of the booking of Mr. Mukesh Kesharwani.



        He made the payment on the 30TH Jul’09 at 1348hrs and We sent him an acknowledgment SMS at 1426hrs the same day. The customer had requested for the change in the address when he sent us the scan copy of the documents for issuance of the policy but we had missed that request and forwarded the documents to our Product Team for issuance of Cover Note.



        The Cover Note was issued the same day and we emailed the scan copy to the customer. The customer after looking at the Cover Note emailed us that the address was not the one he had requested us. The customer called us up also and we apologized to him for the miss and requested him to give us about 10-12 days for the endorsement since the address is different to the one on his RC. The customer agreed to that but on the 10TH Aug’09 he sent us an email stating that he hadn’t received the endorsed policy. We checked with Product Team on how long it’s going to take to get the endorsement and they asked us to give some more time as the insurance company had not give it to them yet.



        We called up the customer and requested for few more days but he was quite irate. The next day, 11TH Aug’09, Product Team managed to get the endorsement and we emailed the scan copy to the customer and couriered the physical copy in the evening and updated the customer.

        From what I see there was a mistake on the address. However please do note the endorsement got to you within 12 days. This is actually quite exceptional in insurance, where policies take a while to get to customers.

        I am sorry we could not meet your expectations, and if there is anything wrong in my understanding, please do let me know.

        Sir I take four wheeler insurance plan for my vehicle through policy bazaar in Nov.2017 .now I want to transfer it to other person .I talked to policy bazaar customer care for transfer it and they told that send an application and original copy of RC of your vehicle to crtmotor.policybazaar.com and an other person mail Vikash.policybazaar.com and I send it on 15-03-17 . But after a month past I didn't get any reply . than I again call their customer care no. i.e. 18002088787 but they didn't talked me and false arguing me . I called them 10 to 15 times but their representative call me same reply that we transfer your call to our service department but I got no reply from them . I am totally disappointed now why I take police from online . But sir is this right to cheated us. Please do some action against them so that they don't cheat to others.

        I am not getting response from your policy bazaar team. Its is easy getting done from policy bazaar but that much difficult when it comes to claim insurance.
        As i have taken a new health Insurance and the Policy Reference Number: PBHI12812 & Application No [protected]. and want additional document for further process provided by medical practitioner. which has been send by me by speed post to the fowlling adders APPOLLO DKV corp office 10th floor, tower-B, Building No10... Gurgaon. and has come back to me. pls tell me what to do?

        Guys do check www.BimaKing.com, they have a strong service team for all sorts of insurance. I bought a term plan of Birla Sun Life from them. Would definitely recommend them over any insurance agent, broker or even insurance company employees. I guess they are based out of Gurgaon.
        Even i bought a LIC Plan from Bimaking.com and i strongly recommend them. They actually offer unbiased advisory services.
        Dont endorse bimaking.com. These 2 guys-ankit and bharti are same and fooling others

        @Venkat: Venkat, i guess they all are of same league, www.policybazaar.com, www.BimaKing.com, www.insurancemall.in, www.Bimadeals.com: the best part is regulator doesn't allow them to take payment on behalf of insurance company and still these companies are doing it. It's quite funny and may be the regulator needs to take some action on this.

        you are absolutely right and they work only for brokerage. Once customer paid, they wont even pick their call. Pathetic service
        This sites should only be used for evaluating various products and once you like some particular product, buy that from the original insurance provider. Their calculators are real good tools for evaluation.

        I was looking for motor policy. I found a few sites earchng through google. I tried both policybazzar and www.easyinsuranceindia.com. Since, I am from tamil nadu, I saw www.easyinsuranceindia.com had offices in a few places I tried them. I also found no other site gave me a comparison for two wheeler.

        I got the policy with in 24hours in email. I also found they are not giving my lead to any insurance company like policy bazaar or bimadeals etc. They are IRDA approved broker and they closed the policy form the company i chose.

        Tehy also told me to issued the check directly in favor of the company not in easyinsuranceindia.com name. This gave me further assurance. Now i have laos purchasaed few other policies through them.

        I am very happy with www.easyinsuranceindia.com. I will recommend tehm to anyone. They seeded to be genuine.

        JUST TRY TO COMPARE FEATURES ONLY USING THESE WEBSITES.& THEN DECIDE ABOUT BUYING ANY POLICY .
        Policy Bazaar is a very wonderful website, you get all the plan details on the website, its kind of super market on WEB, really liked it. you can get the policy online, wonderful thinking and all those websites who are technolgy based and in evry sector, Infibeam is also another good website..
        Yesterday I purchased a Term insurance from Aviva through Policy Bazar for 30 years term & yearly premium is 21887/-.But, today I recevied a telephonic call from Aviva regarding short premium recevied .But this premium amount & form calculate by policy bazar representative(mr. abad ali). when i told same situtation to Aviva, they told that next procedure will be start after recieve balance payment. Please clear this matter as soon as possible. Details as per given:

        i think online policy bazzar is a fraud system, i have taken one policy from policy bazzar named by sarita devi. my a/c also debited by rs 3171 on 31 may 2012 but till[protected] i ha ve not received any proposal no. or policy no. or payment proof
        i am also in their fraudence
        Really the Policy Bazaar site should be banned. I have also purchased a Car Policy from policy bazaar on 29th Nov 2012. Prior to payment they have called me several times and also assured me all types of help. But very sadly the case was its opposite. They have issued me a cover note which was issued on 29th Nov 2012 and expired on 28th Nov 2012 means -01day of validity. After several followup they did not bother to change the same till date. The people working for this company are not at all customer friendly. I request all not to purchase any kind of Policy from this site.
        Dear Freinds,

        I had purchased car policy of HDFC ERGO through Policybazaar. When I received the copy, it was surprised to see that all the details were incorrect such as my name, Vehicale Registration no, my address etc.. My existing policy is also expired now & still there is no response from Policybazaar...
        When contacting Policybazaar there is no response from them..
        I tried to contact to Mr. Mohit ( who was coordinating till I pay the money), Mr. Ravi M, Mr. Rishi, Mr. Sahibjit Singh & till now there is no response from these BUGGERS..

        I was admitted due to an emergency chest Pain in Fortis Escorts, Okhla, New Delhi on 14th Dec2013 and I applied for reimbursement purpose, but still i am awaiting reply form Maxbupa healthInsurance Claim Department, Nobody are there replying to me proper response on customer caretoll free no :[protected] and yet not updated on MaxBupa Website Claim process and tracking.I (Mahipat Singh), purchased online MaxBupa Heartbeat Silver Health Insurance plan of 3 Lacs frompolicybazaar.com website in year 2012. My Customer Id [protected], Policy No : [protected].I (Mahipat Singh, Patient) was admitted in FortisEscorts, Okhala, New Delhi on 14th December 2013due to suddnly CHEST pain and hospitalized there from 14th Dec 2013 to 17th Dec 2013, andMaxbupa denied to give me cashless facility on my policy. I have tried many time and gavesatisfactory answered, but they not accepted it, From there side nobady from Investigator/Auditorteam was visited. I paid my hospital bill of .         In March 2015 my complain has been resolved by help of Insurance Ombudsman.

        These people have the worst after sales service. They think of you only until you make the payment. After the payment is done they leave you in the middle of the ocean. They are least concerned about you.
        Policybazzar ap ki site pe jo details show ho raha he 3 loan account active ka wo wrong he mere recent 2 account hi active he or do ki he kissht ja rahi he . kissht ap wala 5500 ka loan account kissht app ne ani site pe close kar diya he to ap ki site pe qu open dekha raha he plz answer me
