Policy Bazaar — Payment of police done on 4th april but policy not issued till 15-april-2016 | |||||
Greetings!! I am awaiting response of my health insurance policy whose payment of 7090 inr (Seven thousand and ninety rupees) was done on 04th of april 2016.Till date i have not received my policy, instead i keep getting answers that its under process. I have called customer care many times either the line is busy or they put us on hold or they say they will arrange a callback which never happens.The sequence of events is as follows: 1) dated 04th april: i opted for cigna ttk insurance via policy bazaar, make an online payment by net transfer from idbi bank.I get a confirmation that the payment was successful and get the reference no : 31741493. The customer care executive says that i could download the policy with 24 hours. I got a call for the verification data immediately. 2) dated 5th april: i call up the customer care.Now they say that its under process and will take more 24 hours, when i asked why the delay, the executive says its nor 24 hours the rule is 48 hours for the policy. On the 6th of april the same happens here i get new time/new rule thats 72 hours. The same thing happened the next day but then i didn't get the new time but instead the executive puts me on hold but no response. 3) dated 10th april: i get a mail from policy bazaar stating the same its under process. 4) dated 12th april: frustrated from the events i call the customer care and said that i want to log a complaint, the executive arranges a call back, here again i get a 24 hours wait time. I get a mail from policy bazaar stating that i will get updated with 24 hours but no sign of policy. My point is that why provide wrong communication to customers, if you cannot provide service in the given time then don't do it.Their are other options its just that policy bazaar was the better place to compare and purchased i went a head and purchased. Now i feel cheated. I always believed that insurance claiming is difficult, here purchasing itself is so much of pain, i just wonder what i might undergo if i apply for claim in an emergency situation. My request is very simple please issue the policy immediately and ensure that proper action is taken to ensure such kind incident doesn't happen in future.
