[Resolved] Policy Bazaar — wrong information on health insurance provided. | |||
I took a religare health insurance along with everyday care rider. It was told to me by the policy bazaar executive that in rider i will be covered with 15000 where as i have to pay 5000 for the rider. I mentioned clearly that i will be living in ahmedabad and lucknow. I purchased the policy on 24/09/19. When i visited a hospital in october it was told to me by the insurer that i can avail the rider in network hospitals only with a capping of 4200 rs only for a year (Whereas i had paid 5000 for a year). Somehow i disgusted it having lot of conversations with policy bazaar executive. I again got ill in january and when i checked with religare insurance, to my surprise they told me that the rider facility can only be availed in 5 metro cities (Delhi, mumbai, chennai, pune and bengaluru); whereas i clearly mentioned to the policy bazaar executive that my home town and working town is lucknow and ahmedabad respectively. This ends me up stuck with my 10000 rupees, beacuse if i want to be diagnosed i have to travel first to these 5 cities. I desperately want to teach these guys a lesson as i am in constant touch with these guys but no solution as per them. Was this information helpful? | |||
