I am extremely frustrated with the complete mismanagement, false commitments, and unprofessionalism from porter
I booked Porter for yesterday (07.02.2025) between 5-6 PM, but when I contacted the vendor, he refused to deliver within the scheduled time slot. I repeatedly called Porter customer support, only to be told that I should try convincing the vendor myself—which is absurd, as it was Porter’s responsibility to ensure the service was completed as scheduled. The vendor disagreed to my requests, yet your team failed to provide a solution.
Later, I received a call from Porter’s resolution team, where I was asked if I could shift the timing to today (08.02.2025). I agreed, but I clearly stated that I would not pay any additional charges for the delay, as it was caused entirely by Porter and the vendor. The customer support executive confirmed this, saying:
"The customer will not pay extra. Let me check with the vendor and reallocate if needed."
The vendor disagrees to proceed without additional charges, and I was told I would receive a callback—which never happened.
Today, I have called 4-5 times, yet my issue remains unresolved. Instead of honoring the agreement, Porter increased the amount to ₹7, 442 without any justification. I was then put on a conference call with the vendor, where I was suddenly told that I must pay the extra amount. When I refused—rightfully so—your customer support agent rudely stated that the vendor will not come if I don’t pay.
This is completely unacceptable.
The delay was due to your vendor and your team's inefficiency, not mine.
The extra charges are unjustified, and I will not pay a single rupee more than ₹5, 751.
Your customer support has been misleading, unprofessional, and unhelpful throughout this process.
Immediate Actions Required:
Rectify the billing amount to ₹5, 751, as originally agreed.
Ensure the vendor proceeds with the shifting immediately, without any further delays.
Take action against your unprofessional customer support team for misleading and mistreating customers.
