I had posted my resume on shine.com looking for a job on[protected]. I got a call from shine.com and they told me to get the registration done as they have a job offer as per our preferences. They redirected me to open a website named profilebuilder.in where registration is to be done and asked to make a payment of Rs. 2050.86. Once i paid they asked me to pay Rs. 6837.72 more to verify my profile but i argued with them that why didnt they tell me this previously but they somehow convinced me to pay it otherwise the previous payment i made will be of no use and it cant be refunded. I also asked them that i dont want the registration to continue and to refund my money back after which he told me there is no process to step back and i have to continue. So i had no other option but to pay more. Although i felt fishy at every step but he convinced me that this amount will be returned with my first salary. I asked him whether this is the final payment and he said yes. Then again he asked me to deposit 10258.86 as a security deposit for my job which will also be refunded after 3 months with my salary. they asked me to trust and make the payments. When i got a call from shine.com on[protected] asking me about my job preference i told their executive that i have already done the registration process and paid the money, then he told me that they hadnt called before regarding any registration, job or money and someone might have made me do payment through a fake portal. They never make such calls and ask for hefty payments for any kind of job. I realized and was sure that these people were fake. I want my money back and i am providing all the details from where they called. The number from which i got call was [protected] and when i asked about the another number the executive told her name was swati sharma and said her personal number was [protected].
