CAT- 2009 I am a Prometric Sufferer

I am deeply saddened by the way CAT 2009 has been conducted by Prometric. There have so many issues reported, some to mention are Server crashing, systems been restarting during the test Etc. These issues could be justified and might be accepted considering number of students appearing and high number of Test centres. But I was taken by surprise when it was my turn to give the test, I could...

I was scheduled to give CAT exam on 1st Dec 2009 in Saraswati College of Engineering, Mumbai.
I was not allowed to give the exam as my name did not appear their database.I was assured that Prometric people would call me within 24-48 hrs,but its been more than that now.

I dont want my exam rescheduled,as i would not be able to give it on weekends.

i just want my money back....

My test was terminated just only after 30 mins of the test which was supposed to go on for a duration or 135 mins.
All I did was going to 'Review' option to see how many I haven't attended. There was 'End' option. I clicked on it thinking it was End of Review. But my test got terminated. Immediately I informed to the officials. BUT THEY SAID THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. AND THEY...

When i contacted local prometric center (NIIT,Prometric Testing Center) in Hyderabad
to register for SCJP exam, they are saying that we dont have any sheet is available for exam upto 18th november. If you want to do exam write on 19th november.I told that My Voucher is going to expire at 18th Nov. they are telling that try on other center. In hyderabad only three prometric center available.Every center telling same answer no sheet...

I had purchased SCJP 1.5 voucher on 29th Sept 2008 and the Expiry Date mentioned in the voucher is 07/08/2009.When i contacted local prometric center to register for exam, they are saying your voucher has been expired.It was complete misunderstanding and they have not mentioned any date format on the voucher.As per Indian standard date format is dd/mm/yyyy.keeping this in view i thought the expiry date is 7 th august, 2009.The prometric center...

I had purchased a sun certified java programmer i.e., SCJP exam voucher from NIIT institute. The expiry date of the voucher says 07/08/2009 printed on it. today i.e., on date 16/july/2009 I called up [protected] one of the prometric centres in Richmond town bangalore, to register my name for the exam and to my surprise they said the date format printed on the voucher is considered in mm/dd/yyyy format and so your voucher...

The pro-metric test centre at Noida which conducts various certificaion exams such as SCJP, SCWCD is totally mis-managed.
Even if you book a slot for a test there is not guarantee that you will get that slot when you come to appear for the exam. Usually one has to wait for atleast 2 hrs before one can get a seat. After that there is constant noise of people talking on their cell-phones. Its better that one appears for these tests somewhere...
