I was contacted by some person that according to him was authority person from Punbus.
First of all he said that the amount cannot be refunded because transaction has been done using Netbanking and he needs credit card or debit card details along with expiry number for refund.
Although, suspicious, i shared debit card details with him as he seemed to be right person as he knows the exact amount to be refunded.
Then he said ma'am you need to download the app for this process, which i clearly denied that i will not download any app.
After that, he shooted an OTP and asked me to share OTP number. I denied that i am not going to share OTP number for IVR/transaction. He said that, "then its ok ma'am, your refund will not be done.". I said that i am going to right this on portal, he said, "ya go ahead.. you can write the whole conversation over portal".
Now, my concern is that, was he really genuine?
Moreover, how difficult is it to revert the money to your account when all other websites are successfully doing that.
