I have availed a housing loan from PNB Housing (loan account number[protected]. Recently I have received a letter mentioning there is an outstanding amount to be paid. In the letter, it is also cautioned that non-payment will lead to adverse effect. I would like to inform that all my EMIs are getting paid without any delay, very promptly through ECS and there is no lapse from my side. If there is any mistake from my side in paying my installments, I definitely accept and agree to pay whatever so. But in this case, without my fault, or even without any timely information, after a very long time they have sent a letter saying there is some outstanding payment to be made. Over and above, I think they have also added fines or interest for this amount, which is definitely not accepted. I have sent couple of mails to concerned (as mentioned in the letter) and none has responded. I also tried calling them and they had mentioned there is some amount due long time back and when I asked why it was not informed, there was no satisfactory answer from them. Over the call, they accepted the lapse from their side. As there is no mistake from my side, whatsoever, I request you intervene and get weave off for the complete amount which is reflecting in their records.

Prepayment penalty in the garb of Loan Origination cost

The ac number is 2248 in Ghaziabad branch and i had applied for a foreclosure letter, to my surprise, i see an item appearing as loan origination cost of about Rs. 30, 000 (this is a 10 months old loan)...how can u charge prepayment penalty when RBI prohibits you? also why would a customer bear for anything which was between you and your channel partne? if at all, you have a right to recover it from channel partner and not from customer......

I have taken a home loan from PNB HFL INDORE Branch in June 2012 . My loan account no is [protected]. MY loan type is floating . that time the interest rate decided by the bank is 10.75%. After that RBI reduces home loan rates to 10.5% then reduces to 10.15%, and now interest rate is 9.95% but PNB not reduces the interest rate for old customer, he asked for an extra check of 0.25%( ROI conversion charge ) + |cheque retuning charge i.e. around 4000 Rs. Kindly suggest. they increased interest rate on my account on october 2013 by giving reason PNBHFLR stand revised to14.5%, in this connection the rate of interest in your account is being revised to 11.00%. the corresponding effective rate shall be applicable to the outstanding loan amount.

Sir, I, Shalendera Kumar have taken loan from M/s PNB HFL for purchasing of property for an amount of Rs. 30, 000, 00/- for a period of almost 20 years for an EMI of Rs. 29, 733.00 per month. The Loan cheque was handed over to the seller on dated 08.12.2014, where as the date on the cheque was 29.11.2014. When I inquired about that the officials at bank told me that your case was processed one week back and cheque was prepared an date 29.11.2014 but the cheque was signed by competent authority only on 02.12.2014, and was ready for hand over by 03.12.2014, but due to strike at registrar office cheque was not handed over and finally handed over on 08.12.2014. As per term and condition of the loan, EMI has to be recover by 10th of the next month respectively, but the bank has recovered EMI (through advance EMI cheque deposited by me) only after two days i.e. on 10.12.2014 after handed over the cheque on 08.12.2014. After due correspondence the bank, the bank has admit that the cheque was actually prepared an 02.12.2014, but the date on the cheque was 29.11.2014, that’s why recovery of EMI on 10.12.2014 was done. I have written e-mails to the bank but till date nothing happens. The bank simply rejected my request for reversal of interest for the said period . Now it is once again my humble request that please look in to the matter and instruct the PNB HFL to please refund my money as earliest. Address: Mumbai City, Maharashtra

I wish to inform that one Mr. Mahesh Madhavan, Relationship officer of Punjab National Bank, Vashi Branch visited my residence at Kharghar during May 2014, offering to facilitate PNB Housing Loan for my flats in Akshar Apartments, Dronagiri, Navi Mumbai and collected two cheques of Rs 5, 618/- and Rs.5, 618/- along with application form for home loan and copies of related documents, with specific assurance that only on approval of loan, these cheques will be encashed. Subsequently, I have been pursuing by making enquiries with the officials of PNB housing Finance Ltd. and through aforesaid representative for almost six months, in vain. It is recently informed verbally that my loan application could not be processed further and no reasons were furnished, despite my specific request to that effect. It was made clear by the above representative that the cheques as collected from me shall be deposited pursuant only to sanction of the loan applied. It is shocking to note that the cheques for Rs.5, 618/- and Rs.5, 618/- so collected from me were en-cashed to my detriment without any consideration. The act of such encashment is improper, misleading and unjustified placing me through undue hardship and inconvenience for almost six months. I now wish place on record that the aggregate amount on cheques of Rs 11, 236/- was wrongfully encashed by Punjab National Bank without any consideration and I am rightfully entitled for refund together with compound interest at monthly rests from the date of deposit. I am attaching the correspondence exchanged with Bank for kind reference and record. It is accordingly requested for taking the above complaint on record for early redressal for which I shall remain ever grateful. Yours truly, EVS Rao

Dear Sir/Madam I have applied for a loan to buy a housing plot at Chennai. The loan was for a sum of Rs.5, 45, 000. The loan was sanctioned vide letter HUO/CHE/0215/0085_R1. But on the day of Registration for the plot when the loan amount was supposed to be disbursed, I was asked to provide 7 blank signed cheques without putting any date on them. When I am giving an ESC mandate from my bank where I have my salary account, why should I give balnk cheques? When I requested the concerned PNB Home Finance Ltd, staff to provide the necessary reasons for why I should give blank cheques when my property is also mortgaged with them and I am giving an ESC mandate, they could not provide valid reason. They replied back saying that this is Reserve Bank Policy and if don't give blank cheques my loan application will be cancelled. To my great astonishment I could not understand where Reserve Bank encourages giving blank cheques? My humble question to you is does this not amount to unfair practices?and why the higher officials are resorting to such unfair practises at PNB Home Finance Ltd. Need you valuable advise and intervention. Thanks and Regards N.Kishore

Hello. I had applied for a takeover of my existing homeloan from LIC which is Rs 16, 74000. The sales person initially did not inform me that i would require a co-borrower for loans from PNBHF. I did not want my husband to be a party to this loan as also in LIC i was the only borrower and also in the property my husband is not the co-owner. After taking the processing fee from me via cheque number: 724069 - for Rs 3371 and 724068 - for Rs 1250, the bank is now informing me that they require a co-borrower even after my salary being very good. I was paying a monthly EMI of Rs 18000 in LIC and my current salary is Net Rs 65000. I do not see the point of this and why the bank did not inform me earlier as i never would have considered PNBHF.
