This is with reference to my existing Home loan with PNBHFL with account no. HOU/GRP/0915/239647.

On 13nd March 23 I have raised request (and paid Rs. 1500 + GST) for pre closure letter and List of documents through Green Park Branch, New Delhi.

I was informed that it take 21 working days. Now it is 11th April 2023 but I have not received my requested documents.
I am making consistent follow up with customer care but looks like they are purposely making delay.
They are saying waiting for approval, update me shortly: till now no time lines share with me. Why so much time is required to provide two documents. It is totally harassment from PNBHFL.

I also marked the copy of communication to Nodal officer but nothing happened so far. I wrote mail to Nodal officer today also and marked copy of mail to "executive.[protected]@pnbhousingfinance.com".

I request your help in this regard to get my documents as early as possible.

Unprofessional staff especially at their gurgaon branch . Foreclosure requested for a home loan in mid march and they haven't issued the statement as yet knowing fully well that I need to leave out of the country. Unnecessarily charging over 10percent interest rates when the loan could have been closed within a day or two. The company changes its rules for making part payments and one cannot pay the excess a amount from own funds . better...

Sir/ Madam,

I availed the plot loan from your finance company, Dehradun Branch, and it is being properly repaid in EMIs for months. But now I wanted to close my entire liability on this particular loan, as the balance outstanding is very less, also principal portion is mainly remaining in the loan.
I would like to state that I want to avail a Four Wheeler Loan and to arrive at the eligibility criteria in terms of repayment, I have decided to close one of my loans and submitted a request letter dt. 27.01.2023 to PNB HFL for closing my loan account with them, together with the Cheque (Cheque No. - 143155) of Rs 885/- collected by PNBHFL against the closure charges. I was then informed that I will receive acceptance letter of loan closure from PNB HFL within 21 working days of submitting the application for loan closure. But I have not received any acceptance of loan closure from their side, even after around 54 days of giving my loan closure application.
I would draw your attention on the fact that the amount of Rs 885/- was deducted and as per your company guidelines, I should have received my loan closure acceptance by 27th February 2023(21 working days from 27th Jan 2023).
I would further add to this that you don’t allow closure between 23rd and 6th of the months.
This means delay at your end is making me suffer and I won’t be able to close loan in March, though funds are available in my account well before Jaunary.

Kindly note that I called customer care weeks ago, but not received any call back from PNBHFL.
I further called Dehradun branch from where I availed loan and submitted loan closure request but no satisfying response was given by lady, who also refused to tell her name when asked, but she told that my case is being handled by Mr Kartik Semwal and he was not in office at that time. She then asked me to contact him on his number [protected] but this number was initially switched off and then his number was on waiting. He did not find time to call me back, so I am writing this email to you after getting no remedy for my simple issue.

I request you to let me know the reason for this delay and the person responsible for this.
This is not the kind of service, customer expects from its finance service provider, that too a reputed name like PNBHFL.

I am attaching 12 months loan statement of my account.

I further urge the PNBHFL to find out the person responsible and also let me know the same. It’s not a tedious task I believe.

Applied for a foreclosure letter with PNB Housing on 6th of Feb 2023, with the applicable fees of Rs. 885.00. It was informed by the CS Lady that this document will be provided within 21 days but today being 23rd March 2023 the letter has not been issued. Sanction letter has also been submitted to the Bank, but sorry to inform, there is no redressal of the issue.

The behaviors of PNB housing is to cheat the customer only seems. They trying to retain the customer forcefully. I am to state that I have requested the PNB housing finance Limited for the issue of outstanding balance of loan account no. NHL/OMR/1019/753207 & Loan Account No. NHL/PUD/1021/917680 on 06.02.2023, but till now I did not receive the same. When I approach the Pondicherry branch office, they are telling me that your request is under process. Even after completion of one month, they did not produce or not give the loan outstanding balance. already I have paid Rs.885/- per loan accounts on 10.02.2023 through cheque payment.

Hence, I kindly request you to interfere in this matter and instruct the PNB housing finance Ltd., to issue the loan outstanding balance as on 31.03.2023 .

And when i asked customer care they told me it with in 48 hours i will receive call from concerned team and they will ask for reason why I want to foreclose my home loan or if i will sell my flat then will ask for aggreement letter copy. so I want to know why they require such letter. Greetings of the day..

I had availed of a housing loan through PNBHFL and my loan account number is HOU/GUR/1218/623482 .

I had applied for pre-closure of this loan on the 2nd February’2023 with reference number 20931394 at my service branch in Gurgaon. I had submitted all the required documents along with the requisite fees and they told me that the letter would be issued in 3-4 working days.
Upon repeated follow ups they informed that it will be issued in a maximum of 21 working days. As of today which is the 10th of March its beyond 30 days.

I have been following up regularly but in vain.
Till date I have paid all my EMI’s on time including the one which has been debited from my account today. From a customer’s standpoint I find this as an arm twisting exercise just to mint interest from loyal customers.

I fail to understand what is stopping PNB housing to just let me know the total amount payable.

I spoke to one of their customer care officer named Mr. Puneet yesterday and he promised that someone senior would call me back which never happened.

I would request your kind intervention and help to get this resolved and to ensure a pre-closure letter is issued and the loan is closed immediately.

Pre closure letter request was initiated on 13 January, more than 60 days has been passed till pnbhfl is not giving me pre closure letter.
Multiple mail and followups with branch has been done still no resolution.
Escalated issue to Nodal officer also still no resolution.

PNB housing finance team is delaying to provide foreclosure letter, why do they take morethan 45 days to provide foreclosure letter. Now a days systems are more faster to process any type of loans, but do their system are very slow in processing to close loan?
I have paid all my EMI genuinely and the same i am expecting from bank side. Money is most important matter for everyone and not only for banks. Already i have paid a lot to my bank. I had applied for Home loan closure on 31st December at PNB housing's, Chinchwad Branch in Pune, Maharashtra as I'm selling my flat.
I got banks preclosure request reference no. 20680185 on same day. The submitted cheque for loan closure processing fees was cleared on 3rd January 2023. The message from Bank said letter will be issued within 21 working days or on 25th January. I even got verification call on 16th...

On February 1, 2023, I have submitted request for fore-clouser /preclouser in CP Delhi Branch[protected]. It is week over and I am not even aware of status of request. Customer care portal does not even show info on raised SR.

This is the only finance company, which ask for 21 working days to even provide the amount details one has to pay to get account close.

I had bad experience with them regarding interest...
