I am Bhargav from Jamshedpur.
Yesterday, I went to PNB Housing office in Jamshedpur with my uncle Mr. Manjit Singh ( +[protected] whois a senior citizen and has a loan account ( HOU/TATA/1118/609176) there. He is selling his house and wanted to get the foreclosure statement so that the other bank wherein the buyer's loan is sanctioned can give the cheque in favor of PNB Housing. He wished to do this at the earliest as at this age, he doesnt want to keep the burden OF EMIs
However, it seems the officers have no intention of helping out the customers
Rather, it looks like the delays are purposeful to mint in more EMIs unethically. I saw several customers there who have been harassed similarly but yet to receive the letters even after two months.
Very disheartened to see the pathetic response. One should show same level of commitment be it while opening the loan account or closing the account.
Hopefully, the top management gives some focus on this issue.
