I applied for a home loan transfer from hdfc to pnb to get additional loan amount. Pnb approved my loan on 31st jan 2019. Due to the month end pressure they scheduled my disbursement on midnight. Actually it is a loss for me if they schedule disbursement during non banking hours ie: midnight. They cannot issue cheque on that day. They calculate interest from 31st jan 2019. I received mail about disbursement on 1st feb 2019 morning.
But they didnt deliver cheque before 5 pm. Hdfc was not accepting transaction after that.
On saturday and sunday were weekend off for hdfc. I raised a complaint for the delay to pnb customer care and nodal officer. On monday ie: 4th feb 2019, they called me for delivering cheque. But i contacted branch manager at cochin branch to compensate me because of the delay happened jn delaying cheque. Branch manager got angry and told disbursement will be cancelled. So the executive who deliver cheque returned the cheque to bank. Today pnb received the complaint and relationship manager contacted me and told me they have to close the complaint and for that they will waive the interest for 2 days and i have to agree for that. If i dont agree that, they will cancel my loan.
Mu question is how can a relationship manager cancel my loan to resolve my complaint. I almost lost 6000rs due to their delay (4 days interest 3200+ hdfc interest for 4 days 3000) they are not ready to compensate me for this loss.
