Bank charges

I have an account with Punjab national bank. I deposited a sum of 1250rs in its another branch where i am not having my account. And they levied me 20rs stating that it is due to deposit from another branch. But i want to ask that if it is a CBS branch thay why such charges are been levied....

i am writing this on the behalf of my mother who has deposited a cheque in her account on 12th december, 08 in the PNB bank, Branch Sec 12A, Panchkula .But till now, its not creditied to account. I am an account holder with HSBC, United Kingdom. I recently tried to withdraw a sum of Rs 12, 000.00 from a PNB ATM in Vasundhara Enclave, New Delhi (110 096), India on 02/03/2009 around 10:04 P.M.
